If Spurs received £1 for every time he says 'blud' or 'fam', we'd recoup the Sissoko fee within the week.
Eljero Elia is suggesting that, rather than sign for Man Utd, Memphis Depay should have signed for Spurs instead...not to become a Spurs great, mind you, but as a stepping stone to a move to Old Trafford a couple of years down the line, showing a remarkable lack of awareness for Spurs' transfer policy regarding other Premier League clubs thinking they can pilfer our players. It's also worth pointing out that, after one decent season at Twente, Elia moved to Hamburg...where he was a flop. Then he moved to Juventus...where he was such a flop you could literally count how many times he played on one hand. Then he moved to Werder Bremen...where he was a flop, and was also a flop when Werder loaned him to Southampton. Long story short, if you want advice on whether a transfer would be a success or not, his opinion is about as valid as Rob Green's.
It's claimed that Chelsea paid off one of their players to keep quiet re sexual abuse. Interesting, relegation should be a minimum if found guilty of aiding and abetting sexual abuse of a minor together with perverting the course of justice. If found guilty IMHO they sould be banned from signing any player under the age of 21 for about 10 years as well. How many other players were abused because Chelsea failed to do the right thing?
Wackiest game I've seen for a long time. Just new Bentner would miss that penalty but thought that other fella would score his! Wonder if Brighton can beat Cardiff? (I like Brighton's manager, what's his name?)
ICYMI - Vardy makes World XI shortlist for first time FFS!! The most onehitwonderest player ever strikes again!
City go 1-0 up against the Chavs - so now the schizophrenics that dictate how we should think about football are pretending they were never lauding the magnificence of Conte's honey-dipped Chelsea side as they are all drooling over the sheer brilliance of Guardiola's City, a team made up of players who were created by rolling them on the thighs of a decent and honest virgin Japanese schoolgirl.
Another game involving Chelsea descends into a mass fight. Same cause as the one involving us. Poor refereeing. Luiz should have been sent of for a deliberate block on Aguero and deliberately stepping on his heel. Willian stays down when City have an excellent break after he kicked a City player. They are just a bunch of cheats who are allowed to get away with it by incompetent refs.
Must have been watching a different match. That luiz block you see millions of times when balls are played back except you don't see the striker falling to the floor. Luiz deliberately stepping on his heel? about as deliberate as agueros on pedro and fernandinos on hazard (accidental). Willian staying down, they clashed legs (debateable if he was injured, but willians not normally a diver). We put the ball out of play for city earlier in the match after aguero went down and city carried on playing. As for the fight at the end, aguero kung fu kicks luiz (not for the first time, he 2 footed luiz 4 years back in a cup match) and fernandino tries to choke fabregas 3 times and pushes him over the hoarding when fabregas does nothing (maybe verbals but doesnt retaliate physically) cause hes a little pussy. Lucky for the win though but we'll take that, aguero and KDB should have put this match out of sight
Is that a 6 match ban for Aguero? He had a 3 match ban for the elbow earlier in the season so is it 6 matches for 2 incidents of violent conduct?
Just seen why fernandino went crazy, Fab with a dirty sly slap on fernandino. Probably warrents a retro ban
