We were ****e today. However, as poor as we were, we lost to their only attempt on target. A missed opportunity that, oh well.
I have a lot of time for Howe, he was my personal choice for taking over after Bobby. Think we may look at that in a few years when he is at United/Arsenal and think.......oh dear! This isn't just based on yesterday's result but watching his side over the last three seasons from the bottom to the top. Or it could be that he is just the perfect fit for that club? But I hope we don't come to regret not sounding him out.
Look, I temper what I'm going to say now by admitting that I wanted Martinez before we got Rogers (some would say they're the same thing), but Koeman is top, top notch and you will NOT be looking back wistfully at what might have been with Howe.
He bombed at Burnley, so there's definitely a question mark over him. That said I do like him, but I'm more than happy with Koeman. Despite yesterday, Bournemouth are one of my tips for the drop btw.
That's why I mentioned him being a good fit at Bournemouth, but maybe a sideways step wasn't what he needed? Slyly I'll a big fan regardless of the result at the weekend.
On the M62 on my way home )Mrs driving lol) Good win today comfortable 2nd half West Ham fans were bad beauts today. Ross played well as did Oviedo and Mori. #doingalukaku @astro
Unlucky @Tobes I #calledit that Lukaku would score today #doingalukaku is as much about being predictably good against the likes of Young Boys and West Ham as it is about being predictably useless in most other games Bolasie's assist looked good, though Koeman later looked furious with him for showboating and laughing when only 1-0 up
Not going to rub it in but I can't help but laugh! Poor Ronald, at least he has bags of money to console himself with.
To be fair we are looking ****e at the moment not sure what Lennon is doing in training to warrant a start and we need an attacking midfielder(Barkley is not it),replace an ageing defence...mmmm Koeman's got a big job on..
Ron will come good mate. Despite the pisstaking on our end he's a very good manager. We're just laughing as he said in public our youth players weren't good enough and one made his debut today and got motm... He'll do well for you if you give him time to build his own team
I think he will do ok with us too tbh... I think we will see Josh Sims on the team sheet more now eh? Better watch Liverpool don't tap him up ha ha
