If I was manager of Spurs, every player would be made to have a Michael Dawson haircut. Nothing wrong with a short back and sides.
No room for baldies at WHL, apparently! <laugh>

Dawson's out of contract at the end of this season. He's just turned 33.
I wonder if he could make a return in some sort of player-coach capacity?
Might allow us to use Carter-Vickers in more youth games and use Dier in other roles.
His experience and professionalism could come in useful.

Yes please. Will never happen, but yes please. And Defoe too while we're dreaming.

Utd v Feynoord - 2 Joneses on the pitch, one Blind, Kuyt (that's not the ref, btw) and Rooney scores.

Just love the EL. Where else can you get footie on a Thursday night?

And why would you want it?

I don't understand this at all.
There are about 21 ex-Spurs players in the other PL squads. Not one of them is above us in the league. Most of them are in the bottom half. The two most wanted players on here (Defoe and Dawson) are in the bottom three. That is not a coincidence: no player we've chosen (ie excluding Bale and Modric) to sell in the past 5 years has had any real success elsewhere. The reason we are doing well currently is surely because we've worked out who the better players are and we've got rid of the ones that don't really add to the team. Why would we wnat them back?

...and let's be honest, we didn't exactly choose to sell Modric or Bale.

Paul Robinson starts in goal for Burnley today.

Is it really 1,664 days since his last game?
No. Premier League game, I'd have thought.
He played for Blackburn in the Championship in the 14/15 season.
His last start in the top-flight would've been for them in the 11/12 campaign, which would be about right.
