The West Brom game should be stopped right now. Their record is currently:

    Played 12
    Won 4
    Drawn 4
    Lost 4
    Goals for 15
    Goals against 15

Unknown territory for him at 3-0 inside 37 minutes. Fletcher wasn't meant to get that far forward when 2-0 up, 5 attempts on target, Philips playing like a footballer<yikes>

It's complete sensory overload for him.

How can a ship support a football team?

Given ships have a "flag of ownership" that can be changed, IMHO
it would seem that ships would be the perfect place from which plastics
    could support a football club.

Considering the fact that Cunard have been owned by the Miami-based Carnival Corporation since the late 90s, surely that means the QE2 is a Man Utd fan?

That would certainly fit with her current residence in Dubai...

No puns about sinking ships, rudderless ships, winds taken out of sails, Titanic, running aground, missing the boat, ships having sailed etc etc please

Always remember that the Titanic's captain was a Stoke fan.

He was probably trying to Charlie Adam the iceberg...

I'd always assumed he was a Gooner, since that explained his early exit.

Triumphantly heralded as the greatest ever and unsinkable to begin with....before sinking without trace - he had to be an Arsenal fan.

Speaking of Arsenal, their opponents this week, PSG, have had a visa application refused for defender Serge Aurier because of his conviction in September for assaulting a police officer. He is appealing (the conviction), but has no right to challenge the visa refusal.

They have let Cavani in despite that haircut.
