LOL LOL LOL what attacking play, we hardly were an attacking force, **** me one pass and you think he is world class and NOT partly at fault, he was the ****ing cause he got completely the wrong side ball watching. Watch these words CLAYTON will not be in the starting 11 within the next 6 weeks.

Simon also thinks that Paynter and McCormack proved themselves as a partnership last season.

Simon 21 that is, not Simon Grayson, although he clearly thinks the same.

No one deserved more than a 4/10. Players like Howson, McCormack etc. weren't to blame for the loss, because it's hard for any attacking players to do anything if the service they get is ****.

To begin with, Grayson's tactics were awful. We played a 4-2-3-1 but couldn't keep hold of the ball. Whenever we got the ball, it was hoofed up to McCormack and our entire midfield ran forward. This meant that we were counterattacked so easily by Southampton.

Second, his team selection was ****. Darren O'Dea? The worst player, he's so bad. Ben Parker or even Aidy White should have played.

The player performances that stood out were AOB, who was awful. He is yet to put in a string of good performances, with the occasional decent game last season. He HAS to be dropped. I'd like to see Tom Lees alongside Kisnorbo. He's young, so would have a bit of pace and after his Player of the Year promotion winning season with B'mouth, he deserves it.

O'Dea is not, and will never be, the answer to anyone's defensive problems. Why have we signed him?! Who does our scouting? He was actually dreadful last season for Ipswich.

Michael Brown was poor. Didn't do anything, almost got sent off. Clayton was average, did some decent things. Snoddy and Gradel were poor as well.

Basically, a lot of it came down to tactics and team selection. Away against a tough team like Southampton, we should have gone for a simple 5 in midfield. Not a 4-2-3-1 because to play that we'd have had to have 2 defensive midfielders holding but we only had one and he's 34. A midfield 3 of Howson, Brown and Clayton with McCormack, Gradel and Snodgrass ahead of them. This would have allowed us to keep possession a lot more, and actually have some defensive solidity.

Buy some decent players for ****s sake! We need a leftback, a centremid and a striker. This happened last year - we needed a DM and everyone could see it, but we never signed one. Does Grayson even know his strongest line up or what he's doing? I think signing O'Dea on loan shows our desperation.

no your wrong paddy was not at fault at all O'Dea was out of position he went and closed down the player that O'Dea was supposed to be marking that is a mixture of O'Dea and O'Brien's fault

Howson played well, i dont care what you guys say, i know my football and in the first half he was good and in the second when he dropped back into a defensive role it really helped the team. Clayton was at fault for the first goal not O'Brien. Although Lonergan was well and truly out of position, Clayton looked bad when playing in the defensive role because he is not a defensive midfielder, your right, doesnt mean he had a good game though, second half he was alot better alongside howson

IMO if we geta left back in in time for the 'Boro game we should move O'Dea to centre back alongside Kissa. To me O'Dea looked a decent centre back being played at left back. I think we possibly rushed O'Brien and Snoddy back too quickly.

We've known for months this is where we should be strengthening. Grayson won't bring any players in who won't improve the squad, and since he has **** all money that means he can't afford centre backs that are going to improve the squad. The club is run terribly and I'm going to headbutt Bates if I ever meet him.

i think we should say to celtic we made a mistake, do you reckon we have a 30 day cooling off period or something

Honestly worse player i have ever seen and i would be incredibly angry and dissapointed if i see him in a leeds shirt again after that performance

obrien was absolute gash and was at fault for all the goals. should have came out and closed down for the 1st, didnt track his man properly the got turned way too easily for the 2nd, and was like a statue for the 3rd, drop him please, and drop odea too or move him to his proper position, square pegs round holes

mccormack isnt a lone striker, but we have no one else, maybe this german might get a shot?

howson did ok but had no support in the midfield as brown was off the pace and clayton was caught out of position too much

snoddy was awful. either not match fit or his hearts not in it

    next game

    lonergan
    connolly kissa odea parker
    gradel howson brown clayton nunez
    ross mc ( new CF)

Luz was certainly a presence up front against farsley. He has some skill holding the ball, good target man and has a good head on him. But it all depends if his performance would translate well to Championship football. A lot of people around me were likening him to Becchio. Me and my dad agreed somewhat.

Because of how he did when faced with a player running at him with the ball. Good tackler, never needed to go off his feet and held attackers off the ball strongly. Only issues whith his performance were those of being played out of position.

Everyone in Lancashire is the same. They are scum fans who follow their local club as a second team, but claim its the other way round.

Saints fan in peace, thought Lonergan was one of your better players on Saturday, agreed he probably should have saved the first but unbelievable save vs Chaplow onto the post and if Lallana had scored from point blank range, another class save, I believe the score could have been at least 5 for us. Oh, and what were your guys views on the penalty, I put a fair bit of money on 3-0 Saints, and felt slightly peeved when it was given, haven't seen it but from what I've heard there is mixed views. Thought Leeds were poor to put it bluntly, expected a bit more although without Becchio/Somma you didn't really have anything to offer up front. If you bring in a decent striker, i'm sure you can be mid-table/top ten come May. Best of luck for the season.
