No current Premier League side has collected fewer points (22) or conceded more goals (56) than Crystal Palace in 2016.

#CPFC have the the worst points-per-game ratio in all four leagues for 2016

This is #cpfc's league form in 2016. Absolutely dreadful.

Yet Pardew seems to always have good players at his disposal, yet still finds a way to **** it up. <laugh>

Palace have some damn good players, but the curse of the slimey Pardew strikes.

Please accept my humble apologies for failing to state the facts, the reason I do not is that I have in the past found that Newcastle supporters in general have an aversion to them, but let me stroke your masochistic tendencies and provide some enlightenment

Sunderland in their proud football history have been the winners of the highest position in the highest league of English football no less than SIX times, an achievement bettered by no more than five clubs ever

At the same level of competition they have achieved the position of runners up no less than five times, proving of course that even when they were not the best they were not far from it

Much has been made about a player named Gayle playing in the Newcastle team and the number of goals he has scored, ( Albeit in a much lower level of football ) When compared to a Sunderland forward named Defoe who in 2016 has the second highest number of goals in the Premier league maybe a better name would be Breeze

In the last seven encounters between rivals Newcastle and Sunderland the figures are

    Without a defeat, Sunderland seven
    Without a win Newcastle seven

At the end of last season circumstances created yet another mini competition between Newcastle and Sunderland , as one would expect once more quality prevailed and Newcastle were banished to the second division

Newcastle to their credit continue to throw millions of pounds at attempts to buy success but as Sunderland have proved over the years it takes a extra elusive little something

Hopes this meets your present craving for THE FACTS

There is a lot of bluster here, without any challenge to the facts stated. I realise as people get older, there is tendency to drift away from the matter at hand, particularly when it doesn't suit. So do you have any relevant challenge to the fact that Sunderland were just another club using their wealth to try to buy the league and illegally influence the competition? I didn't think so.

Your apology is gratefully accepted. It takes a big man to admit when someone has him by the short and curlies.

Was there something in the facts I gave you that you did not like ? could you tell me why, it is always going to be a problem when someone quotes FACTS as it does not allow you the opportunity to dispute them

Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to who Gayle from Newcastle and Pickford from Sunderland will be playing for next season ?

Rumours are that they both want to stay at their current clubs - Gayle as he wants to see whether he can replicate his success so far this season in the Premier League and Pickford because he feels all the bending down picking the ball out of the net will improve his flexibility.

No its nothing we haven't seen before and they have been acknowledged. However their relevance to my earlier facts is somewhat unknown? I take your silence as acceptance.

I think both will likely stay where they are and will be playing PL football. I just think Sunderland will scrape through again into 17th.

However if Sunderland do go down which at present I admit looks more likely than not, I think Liverpool is a likely destination given Klopps penchant for English players and the floppy Mignolet sold to them by Sunderland. They only really have Karius.

Potentially Rafa could move Gayle on if he thinks the right players are available and he can recoup most of his outlay. I just think being realistic we will simply be seen as a promoted club by potential signings, and therefore in for a relegation battle with the other promoted clubs. And of course Sunderland if they survive.

OK as you are obviously willing to accept the FACTS as presented, I will admit that Newcastle have a superior shopping centre to Sunderland , though when I lived there the only good thing that came out of Newcastle was the road to Sunderland

I have graciously decided that in future I will be publishing no more claims of the superiority of Sunderland AFC as I feel that by now it is common knowledge among Newcastle supporters but are too small to acknowledge the fact
