Read today in the Thai press that the crocked one season wonderboy Harry Lame is demanding £150k per week, that's a £90k hike on his current wages of £60k. He is contracted to 2020 but if the spuds have any 'big club' ambitions Levy is going to have to dig deep into his wallet or he will have another #Modricgate on his hands. I'm sure Jose will be looking to upgrade the ageing free Swede in the summer who despite a fair start has faded away and is slower than a three-legged pit pony. Thoughts?
Poch: For us they are players that are very important, Harry and Hugo. They are very happy to be here and we are very happy that they are here. Maybe there are a lot of rumors that can affect our fans but the fans need to be quiet and have no worries about this because the players show their commitment to the club. They want to be here for the long term. I think the club and the players are talking about maybe improving or having extended contracts. In the future I think it's not a big problem to do.
Don't judge us by your standards. We know your lads have to be paid over the odds and hold their nose while pulling a Chelsea shirt on but our lads play for a proper big club!
