Our games till the end of the years as follow:
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (H)
Bournemouth (A)
West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Everton (A)
Stoke (H)
Manchester City (H)
If we maintain the momentum we stand a chance. But there are no easy game in the premiership.
We keep on hoping.

We are the new Leicester. Teams know what to expect but there is very little they can do to stop us.

"We are the new Leicester"

With all due respect, **** off with this ****. Its not a situation where we've got lower premier league players like Huth, Morgan, Drinkwater etc. playing out of their skin and all simultaneously having the season of their lives. We have a squad of talented individuals which Klopp has managed to turn into a team pushing towards the same goal.

FFS !!

Sorry if I offended your sensivities.

I only meant Leicester in the sense of having a team that everyone and his dog knew how the team was going to play and yet hardly anyone could match or counter it. Bet you wouldn't have minded us being compared to them last season when they were winning every game.

We are the new BARCELONA! Happy now?

This is the best opportunity we will have for the title for a long time. Never is of course an exaggeration but this will not present itself for a while. There are many things going for us this season:

1. A dynamic new manager getting his players to play his brand of full attacking football

2. He has the full backing of all the fans (and to be fair the media too).

3. We have no European football which whether we like to admit it or not is a huge distraction to any team. See our previous title team and more recently Leicester. Some of the key rivals Arsenal and city will have more crucial matches than us. Like Leicester last season.

4. Some of our rivals are facing uncertainty. The red mancs are disunited and cannot find their best team. And the blue ones are not firing at 100% after a good start. Last season again.

5. The only negative for us if we are honest is Chelsea. A top team without distractions like us. But they have a new manager and could hit the buffers late in the season.

If we don't win it this time we will face the same issues we faced post THAT good season. We will be in Europe and we may lose one or two key players to the likes of Madrid or Barca. And the other rivals will get their act together.

I think

a) yeah a while might be 3/4 years

b) its cos city are weaker than they will be going forward

c) FSG are MAKER DOERS and appointed a yes man spreadsheeter in Edewards to buy players and it will END IN TEARS SHORTLY.

so yes we need to win it this year.

leicester could have been stopped. they did well but they did nothing outrageous that made them the invincibles of 04 or utd in 1999 etc... they were just a little better then the very average rest of us.

Everyone knows which way teams are going to play.

The comparison to Leicester is particularly poor because it implies that we have just hit some sort of purple patch and that soon we will be found out and teams will have figured out how to play us. We have been playing this way under Klopp almost since he joined, the only problem was the consistency wasn't there, it would go from beating City 4-1 away to losing 3-0 at Watford, now we seem to have become more consistent as we've gotten used to the playing style

I repeat: I only meant Leicester's style of play and not their club's players or anything else. Amazing how people take exception at the smallest things. They were not found out, were they? In case people forget they didn't just win the title on GD or by a single point. They won it by a significant margin so please we should not feel so diminished or outraged by a comparison with the leicester's league title winning team <whistle>

Of course with the loss of key players especially Kante and CL matches, they were always going to struggle in the premiership. I have not predicted that same fate for us and should we win the title, we will be getting more key players in rather than lose ours to others.

You said it was now or never for the title, so you're obviously predicting a drop off from this season.

To me, what Leicester did was incredible with little resources. It shows that premiership crown can go to anyone with determination and consistency.
Now, it's no longer a crown reserved for the big boys. Gone are the days when Manchester United win it year in year out. Liverpool went to Burnley thinking that they are going to be work over and they thought us some football lessons. Before the end of the season big clubs taking on smaller
ones are going to see surprises. You have not seen anything yet !.

@Lucaaas I would probably call you guys more the new Spurs. You will do well to get 2nd this year with no european football then next year back to outside the top 4 with the potential to be great but not really <laugh>

Still haven't stopped fuming after that Henderson wonder strike I see <whistle>

Not fuming at all. That was part of the catalyst to our revered 3-4-3 :P

Just trying to dampen your hopes else you're going to be very upset come end of the season. You know how it is as a life long pool fan

This is a weird interpretation of the thread title. How does now or never gets translated into a drop off from this season? ???

All the previous ( big clubs) winners of the title never looked back once they won their first ones- the mancs (red and blue) Arsenal and Chelsea.

I realise it's not what you meant, but I understand how Lucaaas could interpret it that way. Now or never means take the opportunity presented because it won't come again.

I did qualify the never if anyone bothered to read the post. This is a great opportunity that has to be taken. If we get into Europe next season(very likely) then it will be more difficult. Just coming 2nd-4th or even 5-6, makes a significant difference to the premiership chances.

It's the best chance we've had for a while, and a better chance to build for the future than the Suarez season. Back then we were inspired by one player, whereas now it's a more balanced team effort.
