So true. He (AN) does suffer from a terrible case of "teacher's pet" syndrome. Step forward messrs Tettey, Martin and Brady. And Jerome, for that matter, when he brought Oliveira in but opts to (for once in his life) give Lafferty the nod ahead of him? WTF? If Tettey is automatically reinstated next week ahead of Thompson, there will be severe weeping and gnashing of teeth in the crab capital of north Norfolk...and beyond, I'd imagine
Don't agree, the rest are obviously NOT playing for the manager! It's his job to motivate them and it must be obvious to even those with Green & Yellow glasses that he's failing to do that spectacularly! Just because one player maintains his work ethic can't be used as a positive for a failing manager.
I just wonder what sort of message it sends out to the team/squad/supporters, etc when your chairman is more interesting in slithering around in front of the cameras dressed in sequins and gold lamé and lining his personal bank account, than actually being 'hands-on' at his football club who are slithering down the table in the middle of a mini crisis!? I'd say it's totally irresponsible and disrespectful to the 27,000 who go each week to help keep their club afloat.
I'll say it Jerome doesn't score enough . Try Nelson or 3 (three) goals in a week 2 (two) for N Ireland and 1 (one) for the ****s paying his wages .
Hilarious, mate Not heard that before. Are you sure that's you or has Xmas cracker canary_dave hacked your account?
Howsabout - and I can feel a nosebleed coming on for even suggesting it reverting to a 4-4-2, with 'hot streak' Lafferty and Oliveira together up front and workaholic Jerome benched for once in his NCFC career? With Murphy twins on either flank so we actually have pace and genuine width for a change. Valid? Delusional??
That would be great management even if we lost at least we attempted to curb the slide . Perhaps even try Jones in goal I would start Bassong and Bennett too
Zero (0) clean sheets in over 11 games -20 (twenty ****ing something ) goals conceded . Desperate measures if only to show the Swiss god that he's not undroppable
Leading scorer! Not good enough eh! The reason he doesn't score more is pretty obvious, he's always on his own up front with no support, plus he's expected to defend as well.
We haven't won since Ages ago give the guy a rest and try something different even partner him with Nelson Lafferty or Morris
Rigid team selection + rigid team shape = the easiest thing in the world for opposing managers to set up for, nullify and stifle. Plus snuff Wessi out of the game, and the fact that we're set up far too narrow, and it's pretty much taking candy from a baby A myopic, autocratic, blinkered style of management which can only lead in one direction - correction, it's already started!
Just had a panic this morning. What if we have to Play Ipswich soon, in the mess we are in at the moment!? Even they would beat us the way we are playing! Just had to look it up, and it's not until Feb 26th. Phew!
