Who cares. Got rid finally and we are all happy. Wonder how long it will be before he is not happy there lol.
Next summer as balotelli or agent looks for big wages and a big move. Apparently he took his agents bentley in last couple of weeks and crashed it over there and nothing was said. They have got him fit but they are also indulging him and it will blow up on them before long. It also shiws just how easy that league is
You reckon we will have to pamper sturridge to keep hold of him or not? Reason I ask is sturridge seems like the type you have to tell him how wonderful he is, but he is not first choice anymore. What's his value if we sell? £30-40 mill realistic.
1 goal all season. behave jimmy. You liked him fair enough, but truth is he was an over paid lazy turd that thankfully is no longer our problem.
Hope we win the league this year with Ford: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...o-wonder-goal-9247475#rlabs=2 rt$sitewide p$7 Just don't think he'll be here next season.
Shame it's just the mirror - linked to Jonathan Tah: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...CID=ios_mirrorfootball_AppShare_Click_Twitter
All these players we are supposedly linked to we would be spending next summers budget to get them. Wonder which ones are the ones we are actually targeting for Jan window.
Or last summers? I think basically dahoud and pulisic are just obvious links for press to make cos we have been refused last summer. They are prob true as both have contracts running down.
Didn't we get Matip that way? if so that's 2 summer signings potentially as only be a pre-contract agreement now. tah if true would probably be another summer one. Who does that leave for Jan window.
Dahoud is a target for sure, James Pearce even said we will follow up interest in him. Pulisic too has been linked for a while. So I am confident we will be after those 2. Didn't Klopp say we will look for a striker/forward in January? Mane will be off and need replacing
Did he really say that or was it more paper talk? We already have both Sturridge and Origi waiting for a chance - if we brought someone in over their heads it would seem a clear signal that they had no real future, and we'd lose both of them I'd say.
Pulisic would be a good buy, would help give us width. If theses two links are real then we appear to be conducting a sensible transfer policy of targeting players who are nearing the end of their contracts, or could even come on a free. Unlike some clubs who, believe it or not, pay a fortune for average midfielders and huge wages for aging strikers.
I think personally we will be looking to move sturridge on to help fund other targets for first team. only leave origi then. What's happening with ings ?
Yeah - I didn't mention him because of the injury, but it will apply to him at some stage. Obviously he's not going to be available to cover Mane's absence, but the other two are and I doubt either would be happy if a new boy was brought in ahead of them. We can only guess what Klopp's true intentions are, because of course he plays the game of being fully supportive in public, but if neither of them moves into the gap then I think it would be pretty clear he doesn't see them as long term options.
Although Sturridge has had more game time than Origi, I think long term Klopp is more likely to go with Origi as he has more movement when up front and Klopps style is all about continuous pressing and movement
There is also the option of moving Lallana forward and having Hendo, Can and Ninja in the middle to cover Mane.
Having those three in the middle will be a disaster - zero creativity, no proper ball carrier and no real link to the forwards. We'd be solid, but so reliant on Coutinho creating something from nothing.
