Had one of those of moments today which made me feel like a proper grown up and a Dad haha <yikes>...

Won a £10 bet with my ex missus over a song that I had seen on Ben & Hollys Little Kingdom <laugh>

She was convinced it didn't exist and thinks just cos my nipper lives with and spends more time with her she knows more than me... I let her know that Daddy knows my nippers favourite tv programs <cheers>

Very silly I know, but equally satisfying.

Sorry for the random post lads but just felt like telling people <ok>

Bitch better pay up soon... already spent the tenner on cider and rum for the footy tonight <grr>

I don't drink much these days (since becoming a dad) 2-3 bottles of beer on a sat night is about it.

Go back 5 years and it would be more like 1/2 gram of MDMA, a couple of lines of coke, 4/5 pints, a few spliffs and then hit the rum around 4am

... tend to do a couple of pints then on to the red wine these days ... kids make life more difficult... had to pick middle girl up from a do at midnight so one can during the match and had to wait until I got back in before indulging in a rather nice, rather large, glass of Rioja ...

PS now we've crushed the Scots we're gonna win the Worldy Cup ...:)

I'm a regular drinker, but I know the limits.

I'll have a couple of pints most evenings and a glass of wine at home with my dinner. I can handle that easily and never get a hangover. I very rarely go over that.

I'm in the gym 5 days a week, so I convince myself that I've 'earned' my beer.

Never a great idea to drink too much in a hot country as you can dehydrated so quickly. I always drink a 500 ml bottle of water after three half pint bottles in addition to the 2.5litres everyday.

True. I drink water a lot too. Usually a litre or more will disappear while I'm in the gym. Two litres in summer.

I drink a pint glass of water before bed. Only trouble is I have to get up and take a piss in the middle of the night.

    That's rich coming from you.

Mine is a bit subtle for you Spurlock. There's a greater depth to it.

P.S. can you please suggest a shortened version of your name. Spurl? Locky? Purly?
