2.10 SEDGEFIELD- LE BREUIL- 5/4

Someone mistake me if I am wrong but are these Paulings first runners at SEDGEFIELD? A horse from my tracker so had to put it up plus Will go off a shade of odds on IMO, won very impressively on his first bunper than ran ok a month ago probably needed the run for this . Trainer likes him a lot and could be more at home In this sphere! Will be hard to beat

Market went the opposite way but made no difference, a lovely drift and nothing more than a hack canter around. Hope ya made a nice few bob Wooly <ok>

Can't believe nobody picked White Valiant <doh> so obvious in hindsight <whistle>

May I add I would not be at all impressed with Mr. P Brennan's ride either if I was on.

Me probably asking a dumb question but how come? Is it not natural progression?

Not really woolly. Often bumpers are run at a crawl, if they crawl over hurdles they don't get into a decent rhythm for jumping. A lot of them cannot jump and a lot of them are excellent and quick and economical over their hurdles. It's a whole different ballgame and a lot of very good bumpers do not take to hurdles.
If you want a prime example look up a horse called STAR TROUPER.

Suppose it takes an talented horse to be good over both! And you just automatically think a good bumper will be a good hurdler
