I hate to slag A. N off but i am begining to lose faith, we should be top two in this division, but to keep losing leads like this is very worrying. I have not got over being at brighton last week yet, and lo and behold, another capitulation. With the players we have this should not be happening. You HAVE to question the manager (and the team spirit) . Travaling 3 hours each way from kent to watch us imploding is getting depressing
I think the worst thing about our predicament is it has given tosser JWM the chance to come and gloat now that we have a manager NEARLY as bad as their's!
There are very few posters on here arguing positively that we should stick with AN. Does this mean that even the most ardent AN supporters in the past, now accept that he should be sacked or at best are ambivalent to him being sacked.
As I see it, our matchday fans should be our 12th man, getting behind the team, cheering them on shouting their encouragement! If the fans create a toxic atmosphere, staying silent, or worse, booing, then in my book they are as guilty as the players for not putting in a shift!
From all the reports I have read, there was ONE positive. Louis Thompson. One report said he did everything that Tetty does, but his passing and energy were of a much higher order. Sounds very promising, so long as he is now not promptly dropped.
Fair comment Dave and certainly in the first half most of the fans were behind the team. When we conceded the first 'cheap' goal, the fans did their best o lift the team and even when we conceded the 2nd 'gift', they were still behind the team. I certainly didn't hear any booing where I sit until the final whistle. As ILD says, we pay good money to go and watch highly paid professionals to perform what they are paid for and entertain the fans. For several months now, they haven't been IMO and I think yesterday's result was the 'last straw' for many and they just wanted to vent their frustration at the dross we have to sit through week after week with NO change in formation and minimal change in personnel. Something HAS to change and at least we don't have another home game until next month and I'm not confident of picking up many points between now and then. And one fan who sits behind me thought he was very poor!!! Yes GE, I thought he was easily our best player and I can't be bothered to check the ratings for the rest of the team.
JM Fan, I was not referring to anyone on here but it has to be said that a number of fans do get on the backs of players and make it very difficult for the players to gain any confidence, in fact it probably makes them to avoid doing anything in case it goes wrong and lead to more derision from the crowd. Who can forget the dreadful scenes of Chris Hughton being bombarded with the happy clappers? That sort of action is NEVER going to improve the situation and could lead to a number of our targets not wanting to come to a club who treats their team like that!
Fans of all clubs are exactly the same Dave and they are entitled to boo when they witness utter ****e every week. When that third Leeds goal went in I didn't boo I just got up and walked out in total disgust as did many others. There is something horribly wrong in the corridors of Carrow Road and I fear it's going to get a damn site worse before it gets better. It won't get better until Delia relinquishes power and that ain't gonna be until she's six feet under. Bearing in mind her mother is 100 years old I doubt you and I will ever see a turn around in our fortunes ! On the Bloody Ball City !
I do understand Rich, I just happen to believe that it's counter-productive! As you say, on the fecking ball City, I think that's what you meant!
Well, this says it all for me and I said on the MDT that I was surprised to see only a couple of changes.
Michael Bailey's '6 things we learned' analysis from Saturday. None of them make brilliant reading and for an Archant journo to be so outspoken is quite uncommon - diplomatic fence-sitters, most of them. Well, RBF, enjoy your next ten years of this dross http://www.edp24.co.uk/home/john_ru...h_city_s_championship_loss_to_leeds_1_4765189
Why continually bring me into it? Some of us will support us whatever, that´s actually regarded as praiseworthy in some quarters. and if we get 10 years of it, no doubt I shall.
I find it quite funny that the likes of you and I are not entitled to an opinion because we don't attend every match. As far as I'm concerned, I think we who follow the Canaries wherever they ply their trade, far superior supporters than those who don't want to follow the team because they're not owned by someone with a bottomless pit of money! We support the team, not the glory!
