Why continually bring me into it? <doh> Some of us will support us whatever, that´s actually regarded as praiseworthy in some quarters.

and if we get 10 years of it, no doubt I shall. :)
Maybe because you would rather we play in the Championship and are very vocal in your hatred of the Premier League ?

Some of these exchanges are really tedious. I think it's allowed to continue to support the team, but give out a critical opinion when you think it's justified, isn't it?

Sorry Gandy, I just get annoyed with people being unkind to RBF, a fine and honorable gentleman of the first order and when people annoy me I can't help but react!

<sorry>

You should try reading his posts properly and not just the bits you want to see! <doh>
I have read many of his posts and he doesn't like the Premier league and he would rather our club were not a part of it he has said this many times.

There is nothing unkind about reminding RBF of his previous posts .
Have one back <doh>

Agree with DD on this. RBF makes some very salient points, and puts them across well, but as far as relishing mediocrity goes, I guess (on this forum, at least) he's in a minority of one. That's why I've mentioned him in dispatches on here lately. Anyway, he's big enough to stand his ground without needing backup.

No need to apologise to me Dave. RBF is a product of my old alma mater, so obviously a highly intelligent and honorable person!

I certainly wouldn't pick him out individually, he's obviously not alone in his opinions, and of course he's entitled to air them (and will hopefully long continue to do so).

Personally, I just can't fall into the 'blind faith' category. I'll support my team always, but I would still like to think we can make progress, and that's not happening lately. The manager may indeed be 'absolutely charming' and if that works for Delia then great. Unfortunately, it's certainly not working on the team.

And even if I do and am Mr. Donuts, what earthly business is it of yours, and why should it bother you or anyone else on here. You all have your opinions, I have mine, and I hardly think that me changing my opinion to coincide with the majority vote, will miraculously make the team play better, do you?

I was answering your first question .
The second is irrelevant you have stated many times that you don't want us to be a Premier league side, others have differing views .
You sitting in Denmark quietly hoping we don't get promoted won't make them play any worse either .

Sums the situation up perfectly, the writing is on the wall now ......

Thanks for that KIO and this comment on the aricle really says it better than I could - "he doesn't learn from his mistakes and he's now had 18 months to come to terms with football at PL and Championship levels but has failed to do so. In a way my worry is that he may scratch a win or draw here and there - just enough to keep him in position. But it would only be papering over the cracks and prolonging the obvious. In a way AN is lucky he's at Norwich where the tolerance levels from both the Board and fans is far higher than at many clubs."
The fact that he opted to make so few changes for the Leeds game was the final straw for me!!!!

And the biggest irony of it all is that the (virtually) unanimous man of the match, Louis Thompson, was only playing because Alex first-name-on-the-team-sheet-every-week-regardless-of-form Tettey was suspended <laugh>

From what I (and most other fans at the game) saw, he was one of the few who were really trying, so I guess he'll be back on the bench at QPR!! <doh>
Having seen Brady's lacklustre performances over the last few games, he DEFINITELY needs to be dropped!!!!

But his likely replacement, Josh "doesn't do his defensive duties", so will not be picked. Excuse me, just how many goals have we shipped this season? I am really hoping Brady is sold in January, though on his performances so far this season only league one teams will be interested.\

Wasn't sure where to post this short video of Jez Moxey, the invisible and mute guy at the helm of our club <yikes> (I considered the 'Bad Joke' thread, as that's pretty much where we are as a club right now!) but decided here would be best.

Perfectly realistic comments, if rather low key - not sure what else you had expected him to say. He´s hardly likely to risk his own job by criticising either the owners or the manager at this relatively early stage of his tenure. He also doesn´t sound particularly confident of his targets for this season, which is entirely understandable, the way things are going at the moment.
