Come on Chelsea. Although 4-0 is great, just a couple more, to really rub salt in there, would be fantastic. EDIT: and they quickly oblige me with one [5-0]. Let's have the other now.
My Everton-supporting friend in work told me on Wednesday about a nightmare that he'd had the night before - Koeman played a youth team against Chelsea and lost 11-0. I told him that would never happen but reality is so, so much worse...
Two real "big boys" in our league. One plays three CBs with two holding players in front of them, and cannot be penetrated. The other spends £42m on a CB who can't defend, plays Kolorov at CB who can't defend, and a GK who can't keep goal - all for the sake of possession. Both having exceptional quality attacking talent, but unless you have Messi in your team, there are two ends of a football field to consider.
You have to agree we did not do too badly last weekend, maybe people will stop throwing their toys when we lose. Chelsea are going to do some damage this year
Tbf City aren't like Chelsea. They have never bought loads of youngsters, they only bought old players. It is now showing that is a lot of their team is past their best. You only have to see what rbs and lbs they have to see that, then they have Kompany who is dead. They even have to play Navas... it shows they have recruited wrong in the past.
oh Koeman oh woe man no grace, out paced, falls flat on face bought, out thought goals accumulated, humiliated defence slack, no way back!
Maybe trouble ahead for Ronald...here's a comment from an Everton fan... "needs to engage with the fans at some point other than at the "Dinner With Koeman" events for £100 a ticket, if he doesn't get a decent relationship with the fans then he's gone as soon as we get beat a few times in a row"
A large rum to celebrate this humiliation and looking forward to the game at SMS as this is a real chance to put another nail in his Scouse coffin as their fans will turn very quickly as they did with Martinez
People tend to be promoted to the point of incompetence. Growing with us could have been the better option, Ron.
