Nobody alive could make us a good team with BFG and Washington up front
Like them as people as I do
It's sensible investment we need
FFP I suspect is a big issue

If we are considering replacing JFH then I would like to suggest Nigel Pearson. He helped lay the foundations at Leicester, however then had a sticky time at Derby. Maybe trying to get his point of view across in a team that didn't ant to play didn't help, maybe also having a chairman that was overlooking his every move.
At least you know what you would get. Someone who wears his heart on his sleeve.
My only concern about changing manager again so soon, is that he will want to bring in his own players and we will end up being stuck on the conveyor belt, going round and round not ever getting anywhere
Pearson is an interesting prospect. He is tainted by the battle he got into with the media towards the end of his tenure at Leicester and the nasty business with his son. The latter was not him so might be overlooked and the former can be trained out of him - possibly. He'll never be the relaxed and easy going soul that Ranieri is but if he has learnt from his previous experience, maybe been to some anger management and / or media training, he might be a decent shout for QPR at this time. He is not the wonder manager that Tony has been seeking but I think he'd do better than Jimmy and set us up for an improved 17/18 season. In the absence of any other manager from the UK that we know of, he may be the best of the bunch. Foreign is another question altogether about which I know nothing.

He's a nutter. Steer well clear.

He left after a dispute with Derby's owner Mel Morris who allegedly used drones to monitor training sessions.
Not a great record, even without the alleged drone.
There has to be a good manager (not even after a great one!) out there somewhere that will do a decent enough job and get us back on track.
The world is a big place. Having said that, if Don and Hils are the best of 320 million Americans, then maybe the world is smaller than I thought!

You can probably discount 50% of potential suitors by virtue of us having a director of football.

Every time I have seen him interviewed he comes across as a sociopath (remember the fight on the touchline when he grabbed the throat of a player) - he is also a notorious slow starter at his clubs which, given the bile vomited forth on here when any of our managers stutters, I really can't see people on here having any patience with - a good example would be his Leicester side of 2014/15 - imagine the **** he would have been getting being bottom of the PL for virtually the whole season - pretty sure there are not many on here who would not have been calling for his head by Christmas (ffs there were people on here who were suggesting JFH should get 10 games from the start of the season) - and then he won his last 8/9 - who'da thunk it??

Fact is the bedwetting on here is getting pretty tiresome - any time we win we are somehow promotion material... if we lose it's all sack the manager, we're on our way to league 1.

We're 14th, and by all accounts not in a financial position to pay megabucks for a manager who will (in all likelihood) insist on yet another 'war chest' for new players.

Oh and we're 5 points off relegation AND 5 points off the playoff places... personally I don't think either are likely.

Great post Mate. I, too, think we are mid table obscurity fodder.
OK, Pearson is off the menu then.

I think we'll be closer to the relegation places after the next 3 games. Not sure about Pearson but I do think we need to clear out SLF and his gang.
