My apologies - for accuracy their contribution to the conversion was by best estimate slated to be less than 5% but even that has not appeared as a debit on their accounts yet!
Except that didn't happen. Pearson rotted him on the bench with Vardy, then your fans booed his name. Why would he shush you if you were cheering him? That makes no sense.
Eh? I was there, about 20 yards away from him at the time. When his name was read out he got a little clap and then when he scored after about 1/2 minutes he decided to shush the crowd. Nobody knows why he decided to shush us, but it certainly gave us the impression that he was a complete dickhead. Thus he was booed. He was benched because he wasn't performing and he didn't look like he wanted to try either, the same as Vardy.
Maybe nobody in your section booed him ( unlikely) but it was clearly audible. That's why he shushed you. He'd just come back from a bad injury when he joined you on loan. Got a few starts, then barely played any minutes at all, bar a few late appearances from the bench. If Pearson couldn't manage either of the top two English goalscorers in last season's Premier League, perhaps the problem was with him?
So why did he decide to shush our section? He was also 21 and not showing any desire to get into the squad. Given that we were in a promotion push, perhaps we decided to give our precious game time to the players that were actually performing and actually showing desire. God forbid.
It's funny, because he's not had any desire problems anywhere else. As I've already said, if you can't manage him and Vardy, maybe you're just not very good? As it's Pearson, there's plenty of evidence to support this hypothesis. As for shushing your section, maybe he spotted you? Can't fault him there, frankly!
****ing strange logic there mate. The next season we walked the league and Pearson spoke about getting rid of bad eggs and having a group that's willing to fight for each other. Since then we've been involved in 'The Great Escape' and a comfortable title win. Both with squads built mainly by Pearson. I think it's pretty clear to see that he's a pretty good judge of character.
So your evidence for Pearson being a good manager is that he nearly relegated a side that then won the league, after they sacked him? Can't argue with that logic! He went on to do well in his next job though, didn't he? Lasted all of about 20 minutes at Derby, as he was scared of drones. The guy's an obnoxious prick, like his son. He'll hang around the Midlands for years, getting various mediocre jobs.
Sunderland are doomed! They are dreadful. Setting up too deep yet still the Goons are finding space around and in their penalty box. No effort, no ambition - total basket case!!
Why are you talking about him being a good manager or not? You asked why we benched them and I told you. He's a pretty excellent judge of character. They weren't performing and weren't wanting to perform so they were benched.
The 49 Premier League goals that they scored last season would suggest otherwise. The 21 Championship goals scored by David Nugent and Chris Wood are a little less impressive.
Jermain Defoe levels things up from the spot at the Stadium of Light. The Mackems were **** in the first half, but Arsenal didn't finish them off. They probably will in the remaining 25 minutes or so though, unfortunately.
Are you being thick on purpose? There's a lad in your academy that's going to score 25 premier league goals one day. He's only 9, but why aren't you playing him?
