I've been on a train all evening on the way for a weekend away in Utrecht. I've just arrived, eaten and seen we've lost to Brentford at Loftus Road for the first time in 40 years. Disgraceful and surely the powers that be must be considering this as the final straw.
But we didn't play them for 40 of those years........Sky do like a headline and small detail gets in the way. Brentford were very good, we were distinctly average, they always looked a threat going forward, we huffed and puffed but their centre half Egan was outstanding. They were well worthy of the win..... No I don't think it's the last straw, we'll probably win at Forest for the first time ever next Saturday.
Im sorry that was abysmal......couple of chances but basically clueless. JFH to my mind has lost the players, they just dont know what they are doing and dont play as a team. Its time to go....he tries to fit square pegs in round holes by playing players out of position and this just does not work. They were second to the ball, lost most of the tackles and there are no leaders. Washington is a striker yet he plays a right footed player left wing. he doesnt know what to do with Cousins and eventually played him right back!!!!!! Luongo and Cherry started doing things that were unnatural and proved something is not right. People on here say the players arent good enough......I disagree.....We JUST HAVE A MANAGER WHO DOES NOT MOTIVATE AND DOES NOT GET THE BEST OUT OF WHAT WE HAVE....in fact they are like 11 strangers. I dont and never mind losing but why time and again should we put up with pathetic performances with No fight and passion.... New manager for me and asap.... ..........Pellegrini is available!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think you are right about playing players out of their preferred position. As the commentators said, in todays Championship other than the Keeper, the players must be capable of playing more than 1 position, most anyway. Jimmy had to change the set up last night which to his credit he did (twice was perhaps too much). But that means changes of position. When he changed it at the start of 2nd half we started to cause them more problems with Chery more central, and when he changed it later on again and brought on Pawel who delivered good crosses from the bi line behind their defence, and moved Cousins back to RB, we played our best football. Cousins did fine at RB. I don't really know why Pawel isn't getting played more he looks good; maybe he's not fit enough. If Jimmy made a mistake with his subs it was bringing him on too late. Only laugh I had all night was when the Commentator said Pawel's name. It could be the correct pronunciation (Ski?) But sounded like he was getting in some very desparately needed belches every time he said his name. Obviously he wished Pawel had been brought on earlier too!
I agree, good post. We looked second best from the start and despite a marginal improvement after half time we still couldn't score.
Funny thing was Jim said he couldn't see it coming, but I could. Maybe I could have a bash at it, how bad could it? Pick defenders in defence, wingers on the wing, strikers up front. It's not ****ing rocket science is it ! give 442 a go change it to 4141 or god even play a fluid system that changes when play switches from defence to attack. Didn't even bother to look for a stream this time, good luck selling those "Gold Tickets" for the rest of the season uncle Tony. PS. Be aware there are reports coming out that there is a one of those ****ing scary clowns is lose in W12, police say he is about 6ft tall, Asian/Clownish in appearance is covered in Air Asia logos and owns several business at various stages of failure and insolvency. Do not go out alone he may approach you and ask you to run a sporting interest he has a stake in. Best thing you can do is Tell him you own West Ham and then ring the Nut House. You have been warned.
Next fixtures - Forest (away). Norwich (home), Ipswich (away) Can't see us getting much change out of those, and if we don't, the pressure is on Fernandes not Hasslebaink
I always find with Jimmy that when he is under presser he pulls out a result that saves him for a couple of weeks.
Jimmy ****head Halfwitwanker is, for the time being at least, bulletproof. The board has publicly and swiftly - some might say naively and prematurely - backed him after the Telegraph revelations. He is the latest in a line of what has turned out to be **** appointments by this club after the dismissal of Warnock. The longer these clowns are free to make managerial appointments at the club the deeper they'll become entrenched against criticism of the sheer incompetence and ****eness of these appointments. Halfwitwanker will only walk when its becomes clear to Lestony Ferdinandes that its him or them.
-5 GD, 5 points off relegation I have just seen the table and Leeds are nearer the play-offs than us and they are dreadful. This muppet has to go!
