I think he's just annoyed at the fact some seem to think we're nailed on to win this game mate.
And if he had said just that I would have agreed with him. Think we can get carried away by how well we are doing this year. There is a big difference in quality between the Championship and Premier League as they are finding out now the early season euphoria has worn off.

Hull have played ManU, Arsenal and Liverpool and theyre the only ones they have lost against.
dont be too cocky

What????????? Your data appears to be at least a month old!!!!

What about these last 3 games:

Hull 0 Chelsea 2
Bournemouth 6 Hull 1
Hull 0 Stoke 2

????????

How is saying we are slight favourites cocky? The bookies are making us slight favourites. Hull are in freefall in the Prem at the moment with one point from the last 7 games, obviously it's not the same as playing a Championship side, but it's still a game we'd fancy our chances in if we play a full strength team.

Just relax

I'm thoroughly relaxed, my overuse of question marks doen't automatically mean I'm full of rage and screaming at the computer.

On the subject of Hull, is it likely they'll keep up their ****ty form on the league on Saturday? Debating whether Watford should go in my accumulator.

Hull have games that they could win in November and therefore I'm waiting to see how they do before I make my prediction on our cup game

Think that may be to our advantage - i.e. they'll concentrate their efforts there as they'll see them as games they can pick up points from.

Would agree it's going to be a tough game however regardless - but perhaps a good indicator of progress

I was thinking more along the lines of the side confidence

It appears to be the opposite actually, they're making an effort with the cup, possibly more than the league, the Hull fans were saying they put put a better team for Bristol City than they did for Stoke.

Agreed - but how many times have we played a side supposedly lacking in confidence and ended up losing?

Even if they do pick up some points over that period they're not going to be flying which is why I can still see this game being a distraction for them regardless

True but I'm hoping they lose every game because I'm big on how much confidence plays a role at this level of any sport.

Hull are kinda going through a transition atm.
our owner is trying to sell the club (he called some precious fans a few names so they dont like him)
its good to see that you are confident, as are we.

I agree, regarding confidence, but we beat Bristol City in the last round, OK its only Bristol City, but you can only beat whats in front of you. Hopefully that will have done our confidence the world of good.

hmm I still think we'll stuff you 2 nil :D

Currently I think we're favourites but who knows a lot can change in a month

we lost our games against chelsea and liverpool, by going down to 10 men... up until then we acquitted ourselves fairly well.

I never said anything about that but you got absolutely tanned by Bournemouth and stoke more recently, so I'm not convinced your league position is false and trust me plenty on here thought we were playing well last season for some reason until about Dec ??? I wasn't one of them

If we were in your position I'd have been wanting Leeds or Newcastle at home so I fully expect you all to be happy with the draw.

We are happy because when you're top of the fizzy pop a game against premiership strugglers is better than any of the top sides left in it whether it be home or away.

I don't underestimate the gulf between the divisions but I don't feel there's any between us and hull in all honesty mate
