I like Dillian Whyte but Big Daddy definitely has a point <laugh>

Certainly social media is being used more and more for this sort of call out and I can't see it as a bad thing, adds spice to it all and gives the fans plenty to debate over.

Joshua v Klitschko NOT happening in December.

    Wlad has an injury apparently.

Parker heading elsewhere too so Josh looks like fighting Molina or Price as it stands.

I'd guess Molina then Price in March prior to a blockbuster summer unification of sorts.

The WBA’s top 10 rankings are as follows:

    1. Luis Ortiz

    2. Wladimir Klitschko

    3. Alexander Ustinov

    4. Fres Oquendo

    5. Lucas Browne

    6. David Haye

    7. Manuel Charr

    8. Shannon Briggs

    9. Joseph Parker

    10. Jarrell Miller

Never heard of some of these and how can Browne be No 5? Joke.

I've been reading that Molina has turned down the fight Toppy, so maybe Price or Ustinov? Who knows. Eddie might have to put in a non top 10 fighter. It's all looking pretty ugly now.

Well I did say there was next to no chance AJ and Wlad fighting this time, load of smoke and mirrors to build up the bout for next year. Eddie knew from day one the WBA had to be on the line for the fight to happen.

David Price would be a total anticlimax after so many were expecting the first match up. Haye would have been brilliant, or even Ortiz, if the other names are already paired up. This means Dillian Whyte will still be AJ's best name on his CV before entering the ring against Klitschko then <yikes>

They don't come like this any more. Considered By Many The Greatest Round In Boxing History They Simply Named It "The War".

And that is Round 1. Won't argue <laugh>

The who would AJ fight next rumours started with Wladimir Klitschko and they've now reached Eric Molina levels...And to think Eddie Hean will be putting this crap on pay per view. Better have a dam good undercard sorted if he wants sales into double digits as we've seen enough of AJ knocking absolute bums around <laugh>

James deGale will face Badou Jack in January, now that does look a mouthwatering bout.

I think to be fair though Beefy, Hearn has been pretty much a victim of circumstances here. Going after Vlad was a masterstroke, but once Fury was stripped, the faeces hit the fan. It now looks as though if the WBA didn't play, neither would Klitschko. Then his injury killed it stone dead. Once the WBO began showing interest in a Parker - Ruiz title fight, the Joseph - Parker bout went down the tubes. With Wilder out of sight, and Ortiz now a Joseph stable mate, (who's already booked for Monaco) the only massive draw would be a Joseph - Haye fight, and it looks like that ain't gunna happen any time soon. Maybe the old timer Shannon Briggs might sell a few ppvs out of interest, but the cupboard seems pretty bare for fast Eddie at the moment.

Sportsbet have Joshua at 25 to 1 on against Molina. I suppose we'll have to look at the knockout betting. <laugh>

Some would say it was a masterstroke by Hearn to build and hype up a fight that he knew was never happening (therefore zero risk to his star asset) as the WBA were highly unlikely to grant a title shot for Joshua, as their rankings show... Really don't know, I do think AJ definitely would have took the fight at this stage. Nothing to suggest he personally wasn't 100% chomping at the bit for it. He must also know his credibility will be stung with all the merry go round going on now if he's left to fight another trash can while worse fighters are fighting for titles. And he's bound to want to beat Klitschko before he's in the zimmer frame (but maybe that's the promoter's aim...) <whistle>

Hard to know what's happening with it all isn't it. According to Haye he's getting a crack at a title fight with the winner of Parker - Ruiz. Haye - Joshua on 10 December would have been sweet but an AJ bashing takes away Haye's title fight so he'd want no part of it.

Briggs seems to think he can get a PPV fight, so maybe he must be due a drug test soon.

Well the WBA has finally got off it's arse and sanctioned a Joshua v Klitschko bout for the Super belt, the fight to take place some time in the new year. The regular title will now be between Lucas Browne and the 44 year old Shannon Briggs. The winner has to fight Fres Oquendo within 120 days. Big Daddy against The Cannon, what a blast. Between then they have 84 wins with 74 of them being stoppages.

This Whyte - Chisora fight looks interesting. I'm a Dillian Whyte fan, but even taking that into consideration, I don't think he'll ever be a Joshua, Fury, Klitschko & Wilder type talent, but he'll make a good living as a second tier fighter. What I like about him in his brashness, his cockiness. He gets in people's heads. After watching the clip below, I sort of got the feeling that the shoe was on the other foot. I can't help but believe that Chisora intimidated him here. I thought that Whyte would win this fight, I'm not so sure now.

WBC Heavyweight Champion as an amateur. People have been questioning Joshua's chin, so too have they Wilder's whiskers.

Now that the Ward - Kovalev fight is over, I can't believe the best p4p fighter in the world is in the Light Heavyweight class. The press will be all over it, but not for me.

Massive controversy over the Kovalev - Ward score cards. Two judges gave all of the last six rounds to Ward, and the other, only one round out of the final eight to Kovalev.
