I think we have got some young players that are better than him in our squad, problem is we just don't seem to know how to develop further once they hit a certain point.

    .........................Really?

Redmond will play for England. I said that so much on here. I think both Murphy's will play for Scotland or Ireland. The way it goes with most of our English players...

Redmond might play for England, but not whilst he was a Norwich player. Anyway I never said he was a bad player, but he wasn't developed properly when he was with us.

Because he wasn't played. He played the end of the season and we nearly stayed up. Left out most of the season"because he was ****" as i said at the time. He would rip any team apart.

50k fans at St James Park tonight apparently - that's a helluva attendance for any fixture let alone a League Cup tie.

Yep. Spend 80m on players then have a Champions league manager in charge coz you can pay for that too.

I can't believe they might be top!!

From the BBC website - "Sad scenes. There are hundreds of spectators who are just out for a fight. This has been brewing all night. It’s been hard to watch the match because of the flash points developing. The stewards have got a tough job here. Fans are trying to burst at each other. They’ve been hurling missiles at each other. It looks like plastic bottles and I’ve seen what looks like three or four plastic seats being thrown."
Wet Sham and the owners of London Stadium MUST get a grip on this, befre it gets out of hand.

Edit - I see it needed riot police to enter the stadium with seats and plastic bottles being thrown and one 8 year old Chelsea fan was hit by a coin hrown by a Wet Sham 'fan' during the game.

I really hope not. He is already an uncontrolled egomaniac. Imagine him being successful at Man U.

I don't think he'll get top 4. One Micky Mouse cup win and a top 5 or 6 finish I don't think will be seen as a success.

Yeah, I think that sort of season would have him living up to his new nickname "the adequate one".

    Bah!

WOW, a bit drastic, but maybe what's needed to remove the hooligan element from the Wet Sham fans. - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37793920
