Seems as though Burton are giving Birmigham a torrid time tonight and have just taken the lead. Edit - Well, Burton ended up winning 2-0 and are level on points with 1p5wich until tomorrow at least. There are going to be some strange results in the Championship this season and if we're to be anywhere near promotion places, we're going to have to play at our best, regardless of the opposition.
Sunderland players face having wages cut by 50 per cent if strugglers fail to stay in the Premier League this season. Ouch, if that doesn't motivate them to up their game, then I don't know what will. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rugglers-fail-stay-Premier-League-season.html
That club is a real basket case they've flirted with relegation for several years now, hopefully this will be the season they finally drop #delusionsofgrandure
Stoke look like that are turning it around. Hull continue to struggle since having a full-time manager in control.
This season, I can really see why Tom Heaton keepers getting England Call ups! He's been fantastic every game and highlight I have seen of him. How Burnley won that game, and didn't lose is incredible. Fair play, that how we needed to do things last season.
How O'Shea doing wrestling moves all over the West Ham player, never once looking at the ball and both arms around him, wasn't a foul in the area. In a season they are "clamping down" when a tiny tug on a shirt has been given. I'll never know. I think the Ref got confused and thought he was still a United player.
...and then Moyes is moaning the goal was offside. I think it would have been harsh to disallow that. He wasn't asked about the blatant penalty. Unbelievable.
Same old Arsenal. Can't beat the lesser sides at home. They need a change there. It's just one season on repeat for them at the moment. I really thought when Klopp was available, Arsene should have moved to the board, and get him in. For some reason I feel that would be an amazing fit for a manager to just let take over the team for years and years to come. He's doing fantastic work with Liverpool now.
Moyes is a loser how he keeps on getting these gigs is beyond me. He under achieved at Everton never winning **** all, somehow gets the the managers job at the biggest club in the world, wins **** all (or did he a win one cup?), goes to Spain fails and wins **** all. If Sunderland think he's the man to keep them up they're bonkers, that man has earned a bloody fortune winning **** ALL !
Don't be silly KIO!! He won the Division 2 title with Preston in 2000! You always have to go over the top!
Redmond stars and scores again. This time against Man City. I wish he was good enough to play here. Just too many players better than him according to the manager and a lot on here. Might have actually won some games if he started some last season. Oh well, on we go, lets see if we can hound the Murphy's out of the club on a free soon!! They have flair, skill and excitement too! Get rid!!
Can't get to confirmation as my internet is still so Sh*t, but: Sounds like the Wolves Manager has been sacked?
I wouldn't say he starred - basically just latched onto a bad back pass!!!! And yes, Zenga has been sacked - "As we reported at 13:58 BST, Wolves boss Walter Zenga has left the club with the Championship side now confirming his sacking. His assistant, Stefano Cusin, has also gone. A club statement said: "Wolves will be conducting a thorough process to recruit a new head coach and won’t be revealing any timescales associated with this important task." First team coach Rob Edwards has been placed in interim charge of the first team, supported by Under-23s coach Scott Sellars."
Thanks for the quote JM, I can't get many websites to load at the moment. I think we all expected this, and in the short time it has happened. It's just like Leeds etc. I recon Wolves could go through another 2 or 3 foreign unknown managers this season, if they don't appoint a decent manager who knows these leagues. ....Just thought as typing that....Is it just a coincidence that he has been sacked a day after Karl Robinson became available? I think, if they were smart, and wanted to invest, not just in the players, but in a young manager who you could support with the cash. He would be a potentially really smart appointment. I think they will go for another unknown foreign manager though.
Wigan sack Caldwell. I think that's a bit unfair. He got them up as a new manager, and they aren't adrift, in the higher league. That's a shame.
