Nice to see Saints win while having fewer attempts than the opposition. Doesn`t happen too often.

Many years ago I used to referee at Sunday League matches. Just after I started I got a phone call from one team to ask if I would like to be their regular ref! I don't think that's allowed even on cow field pitches.Can we have this ref for all our games

Good experience for the youngsters and Reed equipped himself well. Boufal's moment of quality was the difference. Sunderland looked ordinary and little threat until Defoe came on.
