The writing was already on the wall at Bayern to be honest. The financial gulf between them and the rest of the league is even greater than the one he enjoyed at Barca, simply because Germany doesn't have an equivalent of Real hanging on Bayern's coat tails. I made a bet with a friend that he wouldnt win the CL with them and fleeced him for £100 for my troubles. He was exposed badly - by the 3 big Spanish sides ironically - in each of his 3 CL campaigns there. Most telling of all were Mario Mandzukic's comments when he left them, saying that Pep's coaching style didn't suit him and many of the players, but that the manager didn't seem to care. I have long suspected that he was in the right place at the right time with that glorious Barca side who had all gone through the academy together, much like Fergie with the class of 92 giving him the foundations to build an empire. City will give him plenty of time and money though, so let's see if the emperor has any clothes...
Pep giving it to Citeh 40 minute after the game ends. I wonder how long Jose will have his lot in after this beating? Tuesday? Wednesday, perhaps?
2-0 Cahill with a very similar goal to the one he scored against us last season. I know this because my stomach churned and I broke out in a cold sweat.
This is awful from United. The Smug Clown basically came with Plan A but after one minute chelsea broke through the car park barrier and rendered it impotent. You'd think someone so special would have a plan B after £150m of spending, but apparently forward thinking is for peasants.
I really hate Chelsea more than any other team but I am finding mourinho getting a kicking by his old club very funny!
None of the usual top 6 suspects have shown anything to date that suggests that they are most likely to win the PL this season. Come the new year it will be interesting to see what the gap is between 3rd (the PL winner usually comes from that top 3) and 4-6th, as it seems things will be very close between them.
For me, like Mourinho, he's running out of clubs. I've been saying for a while he's not the right man for City.
Utd win 4-0 and Pogba is the best thing since sliced bread forgetting that 2 penalties gave Man U the winning momentum and not open play. Now 2-0 down so what's everybody saying and thinking now? 3-0. "Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye goodbye my love goodbye."
So much for my thinking a repeat of the Liverpool performance. The Mourinho return factor might have clicked in here though.
United are really poor, but how different this might have been if Sideshow Bob had been correctly sent off in the first half.......????

Steven N'Zonzi (ex Stoke and Blackburn) scores the winner v Atletico Madrid to send Sevilla top of LA Liga. Strange game this football.
Thursday night ( after a win against a piss poor Fenebache side ) he rounds on reporters and mocks them for daring to question him and his team...3 days later they deliver this performance. Should have waited for the fat lady to leave Stamford Bridge before having his his system fit
