Alan King very open in saying the Hennessy is his primary target and that today's trip could be on the sharp side for him. Doesn't exactly scream "he'll be primed for this today"

Absolutely Oddy, but if we were to ask the question "Was the horse ridden to its merits?"- I think there would be a case to answer. But its happening day in day out in this con fest, with blind eyes all round.

Looking forward to the serious Grade One stuff where it's a bit more genuine.

I really like Steve Mellish and Jonathan Neesom - they've forgotten more about NH racing than I will ever know. Lydia Hyslop I can take or leave but she gets the job done without being annoying.

It's ok if you are Alan King.....if however your name is Jim Best they would have your jockey in right now and be offering him immunity in exchange for a full confession!

At a big price I want to back Treacle Tart e/w- she was only a tiny little thing when she ran on debut but she looked tenacious enough and I'd be hopeful of progression over time.

Nope, front two could be decent as they went right away.

Laughable ........................... BUT there are clues everywhere. Was this just a pipe opener for a chasing campaign (as you would expect) or are they trying to protect his hurdles mark for a bigger target? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Problem Jose has got is he doesn't know how to play attractive football and therefore he isn't catering to the Utd DNA.

You could live with them developing for a couple of seasons if they were losing with all guns blazing.

Ironically, he is becoming Wenger and living on old methods and not changing. He refuses to accept the need for a plan B or C.

He needs to loosen up but he seems too stuck in his ways.
