That Steve Claridge has entertained me on many a Monday evening during The Monday Night Club on Radio 5. Where he has said excellent things about Saints, and also got other pundits to acknowledge us, when really they want to talk about top 4 clubs; and generally has been a bloody nice and informed bloke, which helps to make him a pretty decent co-commentator. Also, he's one bloke who Chris Sutton doesn't seem to want to face off, so he gets positives for that too.

Just before Extra Time in the 1966 World Cup Final, the players drank from the centre of the mouths, So what is the big deal.? They even put the bottle upto their mouths centrally and then pull it to one side. I wouldn't care but you see do-bat kids following their example!

As we have always been able to follow news conferences before, why introduce a new medium. What is periscope? Don't like adding anything to my computer. What is really annoying is that it pops up saying sign up to periscope....then won't let you get rid of that page or close down properly, so I end up just turning the computer off. The only good thing is that the new computer doesn't tell me off....my old one used to get quite shirty about it.

And the internet means that practically every one of them is streamed. I love the internet. It's a great leveller.
The two Croats Brozovic and Perisic are the two that worry me and it will be a real test defensively for our full-backs if they get going. It is a game you feel suited to the likes of Long, if he can stay onside! Hopefully we are not too defensive like against Hapoel.
