Well that is so annoying. I work from home, so am ALWAYS in.

3:30pm the dogs bark and the motion alert on my ring.com doorbell (google it, it's really good) goes off. I run downstairs to see a 'sorry we missed you' card from the Royal Mail! What was even more annoying was i ran outside because I literally heard the postbox 10 seconds earlier and saw the Royal Mail van drive off!

To add insult to injury, I'm barefoot in jeans and a t-shirt (I'm at home after all) and the door shuts behind me. I only just got back in now (5pm) as i had no keys or phone! Checked the camera on the doorbell and the post man just walked up the drive, no attempt to knock and put the card through the door. The time on the card is 11:30am! REALLY unhappy. (but still a bit excited :) )

    Secondo Blu block 210 :emoticon-0103-cool:

If we actually use the seats that have been allocated, directly behind the goal halfway up.

    So then.

Who from here is actually going and when you going etc.

We must all meet up. As i've said before be there on my own from 10am Thursday, going to check in the hotel then head into town. Anyone fancy a meet up PM me with numbers etc and we'll take it from there. I am really easy, ideal day is a bite of Pasta for lunch a couple of glasses of Italian red, onto the ground early, to soak up the atmosphere, watch a Charlie Austin last minute winner then into the town to have another couple of glasses of Italian red before crashing out at the hotel :)

PS I may not yet have my ticket (as it's at the post office), but I am excited in case I haven't mentioned it :)

Anyone who got their ticket on another ST or membership got their tickets through? I heard word of the club phoning up those who had to cancel theirs but they didn't phone me. I've got a Royal Mail slip at home but won't be able to collect until Monday. Just wondered how the club have played this one?

    Same block as me :)

Was the one I was hoping for for 2 reasons; first being it's in the back block so hopefully can stand and secondly bang behind the goal... if you don't mind it being public what row and seat just to see how close we are? Or pm it to me <ok>

We'll definitely swap numbers via pm before we go... i've already sorted my phone to use over there... only £1.99 per day for 100 mins & texts plus unlimited data.

My plan is I arrive at Linarte airport at 10pm... taxi to Hotel Lugano around 4/5mile away (long shot but anyone else staying there?)

Theres a few local clubs half tempted to sample them on Weds night but unsure if I fancy that on my own and depends on funds.

Up at crack of dawn Thursday and if clear day gonna go top of Duomo cathedral and look at San Siro in distance. Then grab a nice lasagne or something for lunch then few beers with some not606ers hopefully before heading to game.

I do plan on getting to the ground at least an hour before ko due to all the checks and searches etc. Wouldn't mind a walk all the way round the outside either.

Afterwards some celebratory drinks with a few other Saints hopefully <ok>

Honestly can't ****ing wait now <party>

If mods don't mind could we have another thread strictly to discuss meet ups, bars to drink in, songs etc. ?

On another note I've downloaded an app 'atm milano' with metro maps etc. Probs be useful for everyone travelling, providing you're going to have data on your phone <ok>

Was going to do/suggest the same, but didn't want to be seen to rubbing it in to those who can't make it, as I'm quite excited.

Actually, I'll get off the fence; I am a 47 year old child, who cannot talk/think about anything else other than seeing my team of 40 years at the San Siro for a competitive game :)
