Sat through the Holland v France game. Not impressed. The goal was pretty good,I suppose, but it flew in the net like a balloon let loose with the air coming out of it.
Could those footballs dip all over the place when they used footballs with the lace.Doubt it.
It's so nice to see the Kosovo's and other little countries turning out, even though they are on a hiding to nothing.....unless it's Malta!!!!!!!?

I can remember USA beating almost the strongest team in the world 1-0 in 1950.That was mighty England!
I think after that, the Americans thought if we can beat the best,we'll stick to our games..........fast forward to the 21st century......and it's caught on in the USA,even though many Americans try their best to ignore it.
Heck, they even show beach football (soccer) on the tv.How do you dribble a ball on sand?

How the hell can FIFA/UEFA/FA allow children who are barely out of nappies to be "signed" up by a club! It's getting to the stage where they will be farming them next, getting Rooney and Serena Williams in a lab to try and produce some kind of sporting protégé!

Signing up is one thing, tapping-up is another - for example a certain ten-year old who was on Luton's books, but then moved to Arsenal...and since moved to Bournemouth, via the treatment table.

Or like Jason Kenny and Laura Trott in cycling, they could have footballers marrying each other with the unborn offspring already signed up on the basis of their superior genes.

By the time she's old enough for him she'd be past having kids.

Spurs fans protest Leicester resident Kevin Friend being appointed referee for one of our matches, and the media call us a bunch of paranoiacs

    October 2016
Liverpool fans protest Manchester resident Anthony Taylor being appointed referee for one of their matches, and the media wholeheartedly agree

I'm sure nobody else noticed this...

Friend was also known to attend Leicester matches.
I didn't even see anyone bring it up until he was removed from the game.

    It has been noted.
The difference is that Spurs were still in the fight for the PL title with days to go,
while this ref appointment won't affect which of those teams end up in the 1st/2nd
    Europa League slot come May.

Just in case anyone's wondering, there's a list of who each ref supports, prompted by the Friend 'controversy':
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36075347

Notice the unusual lack of top clubs, with only one Premier League side represented and none from London.
Even that was forced, as Moss actually played for the club in question, albeit at youth level.
I wonder how many of them bent the truth on that question? Far too many Northerners, anyway.

There must be a fair few closet Pool fans lurking among Premier League referees, judging by the amount of favourable refereeing decisions the Mousers enjoy on a consistent basis.

Nah, you need to read one of their matchday threads to get the true picture of how biased refs are against them. According to most, every team they play should have 3 red cards (minimum) against them and 2 penalty's (on top of the 1 they always get).

Well that's what the refs normally give them isn't it?
