Don't do cocaine etc etc. After all if there's a war on drugs paying the dealers your cash is hypocritical. 2. don't sleep with hookers. this one seems difficult for the yanks. lots of guys get done for this. 3. don't sexually assault women. 4. Pay your due taxes. as in contribute to society. 5. Do charitable work (not like the clintons to skim it off the top) 6. treat all with basic respect. as in don't abuse muslims, mexicans or whoever cos its easy for votes. ........................... I mean.. **** lets get a mason in charge. but then the voter gets who he deserves and not many voters it seems can meet the basic 6 points above either it seems.

That's why I always say power of president should be limited and at least half the legislative body should by elected by lottocracy. Lottocracy (Sortocracy) would solve so many problems: 1) True representation. 2) Anyone can hold office, not just the rich. 3) No career politicians. 4) Lobbyists stopped dead. 5) No first-past the post polarising opinions. 6) No political parties. Those in office answer to the people not the party.

If we all got simple yes/no votes daily on our smart phones to vote for policies that would be actual democracy. peopel could then actually say ok this is a good idea or not on each topic. I think estonia has some form of system they used to allow remote voting with certifications for their general election. to extend to all laws would be extreme but well... it could work.

yes. The only way to make it work is by ensuring somehow every person is certified. Thats social security number to you connected to a verifiable (and therefore stealable) certificate and having some biometric system to connect me to the cert and therefore my vote to the actual result. If ner do wells want to vote for say giving alaska back to russia or something then they need physical data, certs and so forth. it can't just be anonymous. You could have a retina scan on a phone, vote system holds cert and pings verifying system to log vote and the verifying system asks for the scan and registers its verified and then vote is registers to mr milk. etc etc. could you fake it? probably but no more than a fake id on polling day now so its really the grand scale larceny you describe that must be prevented.
