Anyone on here use MusicMagpie to get rid of DVDs or CDs? Does anyone know if you can do anything if the CD doesn't have a barcode on it?

As I recall you need to scan or enter a barcode and they only accept stuff by original artists not compilations.

They are originals. Just no barcode on the artwork. Annoying.

So, as expected, Glastonbury 2017 tickets sold out within an hour this morning.
Amazing, especially at well over £200 a pop and nobody knowing who the hell they're going to be watching yet! <yikes>

Well, it's only a £20 deposit at this stage, but mad how quick it sells out. A colleague was in our office this morning, so he could have 12 computers refreshing the website. Paid off for him thankfully

Oh well, it's that time again, let's give the trolls something to work with! Next weekend I'm off to Sunderland for a couple of nights visiting some very good friends.

Let me tell you a story, when I first joined not606 in 2011, the resident supermod was a Sunderland supporter by the user name of cyprussydsafc, a wonderful man and we hit it off straight away.

I'm not a rich man despite parting with £73 for a NCFC shirt, Syd invited me to stay at his house to watch Sunderland v Norwich! I said I would struggle to pay the fare, so this man, who I had never met in person, arranged to drive from his home in Coxoe, County Durham, down to my house ahd drive straight back to Coxoe, he put me up at his house, bought me a ticket to the match, staying overnight at his house for a second night, then driving me back to Weston on the Monday morning!

That is the calibre of this man who I am honoured to call my friend!

I'll now don my tin hat and await the beating stick! cheers

    If they think
"Hofmeister was killed off by brewers Scottish & Newcastle in 2003 after sales plummeted in the wake of the soaring popularity of premium beers like Carlsberg, Fosters and Stella Artois."
are premium beers, then I can understand why they might think Hofmeister was something other than rats piss.
I suppose "****e lager making unwelcome return, who the Duck will buy it?" would be more accurate but not help the industry or at least those brewers!
And as for any campaign that wants to bring back/ relaunch; Kestrel, Diamond and Star. I'm not getting behind that, there is plenty of crap out there to drink without more horrible crap.

    Bah!

Has it not occurred to you both that people have different tastes, not everyone thinks the world begins and ends with craft beers, Gandy and I went into BrewDog when I was up earlier this year, we both thought what we tried was crap.

When I'm out for a drink, I always start off with Fosters, or Flowers Keg if it's available, judging by the sales figures, I'm not alone in liking Fosters!
