What is so apparent since Saturday is the sheer despair that now most feel with Slade. Magennis, Holmes & Lookman are Championship standard attackers who would walk into any team in League One that I have seen - fact. Slade's job is to utilise them in such a way that they create chances & goals. It is utterly beyond him. Were it not for that last min equaliser at the mighty Fleetwood we would be in the relegation zone now. Every team in this league sees us as a big fish and a scalp - mixing my metaphors here I know, but Slade then sends out a timid mouse. Speaking to a friend who was there on Saturday, he said that Slade got booed when he pulled off Magennis, and also Holmes.
