Ivan Grozny destroyed them there. Not bad for the stables 10th string. Tell me boys, who was it said Hargam could win a Champion Hurdle, he's just had the ears ridden off him and couldn't even get near a handicapper for second <rofl>

Aye the judges knew indeed <rofl>

I think Order Of St George really helped to set it up for her. Not many hard luck stories in it be fair. Postponed proved that leaving them sitting in their box does them no favours. Best horse won.

Loved Chapman's question to AOB: "Are you regretting not running Minding? You would have had a 1-2-3-4" <laugh>

He only tells everyone to listen after the fact. Listen, I can give you a four horse accumulator at Chantilly this afternoon but you will be more than two hours too late to put it on.

When the Irish are fed up of their politicians (which they probably are because it seems everyone else hates them), they can get O’Blarney in to do the job – if he can get off his mobile to The Lads for long enough to run the country.

Those of us that said beforehand that it was a poor renewal are still sticking to what we said before the race. From a form point of view there was no way that I would have backed a horse that had been soundly beaten by the favourite this season and had only managed to win a Group 3 race. Seventh Heaven must be the best three year old filly now because she stuffed Found at York yet she is standing in her box today.

Patrick Reed 2/1 to beat McIllroy looks bloody big in the singles doesn't it? Reeds been player of the tourney, will get huge support today and he'll absolutely relish taking on Europes big gun in the first. Can Rory keep his concentration in check for 4.5 hours in an absolute mad environment where he's going to get abused left, right and centre? Could very well be the difference if the two play as they have done so far.

Hope to be proved wrong, and won't be backing anything in it but just looked at the markets there.

I think Timiyan could put it right upto Penhill in the next at Tipp. I've had a go at the odds anyway, perhaps Penhill is a cut above but we will know more In 20 minutes. 5/1 taken.

Found now has an Arc and Postponed doesn't. I'm sure Aidan won't sleep knowing Postponed beat her half cooked mid season after saddling the Arc 1-2-3. I'd say he would swap the races around if he could <laugh> on the bitter again today!

Found has been targeted for an Autumn campaign and they 100% got what they planned all year for her.

How do times compare generally between Lonchamp and Chantilly. That Arc was 3.6 secs faster than last years. In relation to standard times, it was over 2 secs faster.

He isnt the worst for giving a bit of info before a race. If he says "Listen she's a really nice filly and she's been in good form but she'll come on for the run" or "she'd like faster ground" etc. etc. you know well enough to stay away from them. Its not as though any of them go shouting from the rooftops about their chances.

The best thing about the Arc was it kisses good bye to the Flat. Let's keep this in perspective, regardless whether the result has given you a smug smile or left you seething...

    Good bye Flat :) :bandit:

I hope they both can maintain the standard they've set so far this week...what a match it could be then. Both are fired up to the hilt as well. I have to say Rory has played unreal given the circumstances. I was always luke warm on him in the early days but he's grown on me and I'm now a massive fan. Come on Europe.

They aren't golf fans Beefy.."sports fans" is generic term for the rabble.

Most turn up in ice hockey and american football regalia and clearly aren't versed in golf course etiquette.

Are we being too precious?..maybe,but surely decency transcends all sports and how a visiting team and their followers should be respected.

The rabble in question are not a minority..they are the total.

When McIlroy hit his mud ball into the drink at the 16th the gallery en masse were all raised in upper limb and to a person ebullient.

McIlroy described the atmosphere after day one as hostile..he was very understated.

The Ryder Cup is in real trouble after this,re sponsors etc,and where the Yanks decide to host it in future,if it has one.

Perhaps the saddest thing is that the American players and staffers don't see a problem.

    In conclusion..**** them.

Lol you must be joking Beefy. He was 3rd in the ****test Triumph hurdle for a while?

I see Tipp has got some of you straight into NH discussion now the Arcs been and gone!

Relishing the Ryder Cup this afternoon- just hope Europes early players get some blue on the board (steady on) so that we have a contest to watch tonight!

It was good to soft then STH. The only times Postponed has been beaten has been on good ground or faster. The ground must have been fast today as that Arc was run at a blistering pace.
