Sympathy for Rovers not very evident at all on the Hull FC forum.

Oh, I forgot
It's like Boca v River Plate x 10 in this crazy rugby league cauldron of a city where people in East Hull have painted the zebra crossings red and white, and people in the west refuse to eat red meat.
Most fans in any sport would be delighted if their rivals got relegated.

And I see both rugby teams as our rivals. The ****ter they are, the better it is for City.
Fair enough.
The rugby fans I know would never be seen dead at a football match and the other lot seem to be plastics of Manure, Lpool. Either way there not rivals.
There will of course be a few spectators (not true supporters) that will now ditch Rovers and start watching City.

I'm going to one in Sydney today that is a sellout 83,500. Biggest one in the UK I have watched was over 102,000(previous world record) and the world record attendance is 107,500 which I was also at in Sydney.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it!
I remember being at the 1985 RL Challenge Cup final.99,801 .
The biggest attendance ive been in

Half of them will have been kids on school trips.

Used to love those. Train to Kings Cross, packed luncheon box, on to Wembley, off for tea and then to Ice Hockey. Then a late return to Paragon Station. First one in 1950 which started me off. Went to them all until I left England in 1966.

Get' em young and you may get them for life!

Some lad bravely taking on a female. With both her shoes on her feet,. Unlike the Hull FC lass on another occasion when there was fighting on the pitch which was plated down with no jail terms or banning orders, just a few on the spot fines. Imagine the fuss if this had been at City.
Good to see the copper getting wade in. Not.

I remember being amongst the 800 at Hull RLFC v Huyton, the lowest crowd I have ever been in.

Don't forget the Barrow one.

Of course FC were taken over by Gateshead because they didn't know what to do with the massive croedsvand money generated.

Wonder if the HDM will stop printing Rovers crowds like they did last time Rovers were in the second division of rugby and getting crowds of less than 2,000? Though no doubt the atmosphere rating will still be an 8 or 9.
