Why spend 800k on a poacher to play football where we largely aren't anywhere near it? So disjointed, from upstairs to the pitch.
Foley slows the team down with his poor passing. I watched him closely at RB today - he gave away possession 3 times in the first 15 min incl a simple cushion header. Pearce's long ball passing today was excreable.
If we're looking for our make-shift RB to dictate our tempo we're in s**t. With 3 CM's the ball should be popped in there for those boys to dictate. But, sadly those boys were passengers.
The only plus point from yesterday was hearing the crowd turn on Slade - chants of "4-4-2" really shouldn't be necessary when you play at home to Oldham and Rochdale. Slade felt the booing was "a little bit disrespectful " - you aint seen nothing yet mate - I call 2 points and 1 goal from open play from Oxford, Oldham and Rochdale v.disrespecful.
How about 3 points and 3 goals from open play from Wimbledon, Scunny, Oxford, Oldham and Rochdale v. disrespectful.
He's grotesque. I've never known a manager to wind me up so much in a press conference, and it was only last season we had Carol. Going to send him a brochure for some media training which I reserve for under 16's.
i left on about 60 mins. we'd seen enough. they obviously hadnt learned from their mistakes the previous tuesday. our build up play is just so one dimensional. we'll struggle this season. with tommy driesen still picking players we're going to end up getting relegated to L2, and then the belgian top division after that. cant say there were more than 11k in the ground. we'll end the season with real attendances of about 4k
