Indeed. Which is why in the January window, we need to bolster CB and striking options (Oliveira's first touch today gifted the ball back to Wolves!) especially if we're still in with a realistic shout of going back up. No good leaving it until we stumble over the line in May - if, indeed, we do!
We have said that every single window for about 5 seasons.

It's just not going to happen. If we couldn't do it in the Premiership, we sure as hell cant in the Championship.

I wish we'd signed Curtis Davies a few seasons back!!
Sorry, that's hindsight! <doh>

Dunc funny? Not recently.

Really enjoyed the game today. Thought Wes was immense, chasing everything, so good to see. Timm and Ivo, so good to have those guys in the team.

Completely bossed the first half, some SQB (squeaky bum time) in the second, but that's acceptable for the away team. Feeling so much better now - 3 points from Newcastle and Wolves not bad at all.

When was he? I might have been at work. :emoticon-0110-tongu

A win away at money bag Wolves is a very good result.

At the start of the season I would have been more than happy with our current position and whilst our performances have often fallen well short of what the squad should be capable of we are continuing to amass points.

In reply to that I would say this :
Statistically the average position of the teams that we have played so far is 13.5. In a twenty four team division the average position is 12.5 ( there is not a position 0) so the quality of the teams that we have played to date is on average very slightly below the mean.[/QUOTE]

That would be fine if everything that happened in a 90 + minute game was predictable! This is football, the only thing that is predictable is its unpredictability!
