Rooney's past successes ensure that............you're ****ed if you keep playing him. Leicester won the league last season whilst the former power houses of Wolves, Forest, Villa, Leeds are all stuck in the Championship. Mourinho wins the title and less than half a season later he's sacked for being ****.

The thing about the past is it's over. Ask Forest fans when they're going to win the Champion's League again? For all of United's money they went 25 years without winning the league before you were born and Liverpool are in that rut now whilst Citeh and Chelsea have been buying silverware left, right and centre.

Past success for players, manager and fans means nought. We were badly managed for 17 years by Irving Scolar and Alan Sugar. It'll have taken the same period to turn it round and start a season in our new home. A very wise Man once wrote....'The Future Is Unwritten.'
Think you may need to read the post I responded to, I don't normally mention "history" I'm not a scouser :emoticon-0100-smile

Does anybody here still think Liverpool won't contend for the title? Methinks they will lead the chasing pack which will catch City over a period.

Chelsea beating Hull Hotspur...after a good start they look like they are in for a very long season.
Hammers equalise so guess the 75 minute fire drill has been put on hold.
Villa proving everyone who thought they'd struggle in the championship right by losing 2-0 at ht to preston

Need Hull Hotspurs to score a goal and Sunderland to get a winner ... will give me 4 correct score in prediction league
