In his mind it does, even though its the same teachers!Changing a school's name to "Grammar" doesn't make the teachers better.

He really is a joke. The teachers at my sons grammar school are the same teachers who teach at comprehensives and UTCs in the area because the schools pool resources.Changing a school's name to "Grammar" doesn't make the teachers better.
So the kids that get selected for Grammar schools won't be gaining an advantage over the children of the feckless, who end up in other types of school. He really is a joke. Pete's a selfish **** which is reflected in his politics and his life path.Absolutely agree with this. Half my family are norwegian and the levels of support provided by the state to help families puts this country to shame.
It highlights the problem with Petes view that only the wealthy should be rewarded because they earned it and anyone who is poor is stupid. Take kids from a poor background and give them the same upbringing as a wealthy kid and you will find no difference in what they can achieve, the only thing holding them back is their poverty.
So the kids that get selected for Grammar schools won't be gaining an advantage over the children of the feckless, who end up in other types of school.
What the **** are you lot crying about then?![]()
Just in case anyone thinks that The Bear is overdoing it, take a look at what the UN has to say about it.As someone who just spent 6 months living in Denmark (for work),
I would 100% take a leftie Corbyn (Modern Social Democrate) over any Tory or 'Tory light' right wing government. The poor has been squeezed for too long in the Uk and we need some balance.
People and the media like to make out Corbyn is some super leftie old school socialist but in reality he is a modern moderate leftie. Much like we see in Denmark and Norway.
Those countries are leading the way and we should follow those proven working models. From health, to transport to independent business Scandinavia is the example to follow.
Xenophobia has little to do with religion though I can see why you'd confuse the two given you dislike muslims and foreigners.

They claim that the austerity policies have created so much inequality that they're in breach of international human rights obligations.
This has nothing to do with saving money and everything to do with a dodgy ideology.
Labour didn't overspend, they under-regulated. The banks ****ed everything up, as their restrictions were loosened. How about saving money that Labour overspent on.
I dont recall saying anything about muslims and foreigners, you listen to Stan too much.
Which one of is is custard next week, God again?
I've only referred to you as Kustard, you simpleton.
So I was right, the new account and username is to try and distance yourself from the bigoted **** you posted in the past. Coward.I dont recall saying anything about muslims and foreigners, you listen to Stan too much.

Labour inherited the deregulation from the Thatchers government in the 80's and did nothing about it. We still have the same problem with the private rental market that was deregulated in 1989.Labour didn't overspend, they under-regulated. The banks ****ed everything up, as their restrictions were loosened.
The Tories pledged to match Labour's spending and regulate even less, then beat Labour over the head with the same policies.
It was one of the most consistent lies of the last election and one that was rarely called out.
Don't worry, the invisible hand of the magical market will fix it all.Labour inherited the deregulation from the Thatchers government in the 80's and did nothing about it. We still have the same problem with the private rental market that was deregulated in 1989.

I agree with you. All children should get the education that suits their abilities. If two grammar schools are built in poorer areas for every one built in the leafy suburbs and have to operate a strict catchment area rather than accept children from richer areas, then it will help to equalise opportunities for all children. What must not be neglected, however, is that those who do not do to grammar schools also get the best possible education. Throughout Europe engineering and technical skills are as highly regarded as academic skills in terms of education, which is sadly not the case in the UK.
I agree with you. All children should get the education that suits their abilities.
Why Custard with a K, by the way?I've only referred to you as Kustard, you simpleton.
