Liverpool fans are up in arms that Anfield's new main stand isn't in FIFA '17.

Most people would say it's because, outside the cosmetic things such as kits and allocating players to clubs, FIFA finished its alpha phase back in May when the stand wasn't finished - but I'd like to think it's EA sticking their middle finger up at the Mousers for lumbering last year's game with Jordan Henderson as the cover star.

Mark Clattenburg has been replaced as tonight's referee for the Everton v Palace game.
He's ill, apparently. He hasn't been caught taking bungs or anything. Probably.

Something slightly weird though, as his fourth official was Kevin Friend, so you'd expect him to take over.
He's an experienced Premier League referee and he's already there, so that would be natural, wouldn't it?
Nope, they've called up Jonathan Moss, who was down to be the fourth official at our game on Sunday. Odd.

I'm sure that there's a perfectly good explanation for it. Maybe this is normal?

No. The fourth official is normally another referee, though the linesmen tend to be more regular.
Moss did the West Ham v Southampton game last week with Pawson as his fourth official, for example.
Clattenburg wasn't on that week, but he did the midweek between Dortmund and Real.

If it improves the chances of Jon Moss being hurled into the Mersey, I'm all for it.

The person with the "CA" vest seems to be pointing at who they think the "missus" is.

I'm not surprised. I saw their manager interviewed pre match and he was wearing jeans. What sort of grown man wears jeans when interviewed on national TV ??

The problem with a lack of continuity is that there's no shared history of success, nothing that all the players remember as having worked in the past. So there's less to stop players from losing belief in the system they're playing, and the manager who's orchestrating it,

    your grace.

If by ****ed you mean fated to continue their breathtaking rise past the crumbling old PL dynasties, then sure.

So what shared history of success do you have..
What do all the players remember as having worked.

We have the odd few players who should remember having success together like deGea, Smalling, Valencia, Rooney, Young, carrick and Jones should remember what worked and know what success is, like Zlatan, Miki, Pogba, Bastian (even Martial and Memphis to a lesser extent). The manager is quite familiar with success too

Remind me again who Spurs have :emoticon-0100-smile

You do have an impressive history of success individually, but the collective success you’ve had is a fairly distant memory shared by players who are almost all past their best. We have a steady arc of improvement all our starters share.

In all honesty, of all the so called top teams you are the ones I would like to see have success if we fail <ok>

Rooney's past successes ensure that............you're ****ed if you keep playing him. Leicester won the league last season whilst the former power houses of Wolves, Forest, Villa, Leeds are all stuck in the Championship. Mourinho wins the title and less than half a season later he's sacked for being ****.

The thing about the past is it's over. Ask Forest fans when they're going to win the Champion's League again? For all of United's money they went 25 years without winning the league before you were born and Liverpool are in that rut now whilst Citeh and Chelsea have been buying silverware left, right and centre.

Past success for players, manager and fans means nought. We were badly managed for 17 years by Irving Scolar and Alan Sugar. It'll have taken the same period to turn it round and start a season in our new home. A very wise Man once wrote....'The Future Is Unwritten.'
