Nothing actually illegal as far as I can see but it just makes me so angry. We want proper football people involved with the club not this sort where it's money first, football/Saints second. He still lives in the Midlands for heaven's sake. It never felt like a good appointment at the time. It definitely doesn't now. We can do better. He should go for bringing the name of the club into disrepute and NO compensation.
Isn't it time the Telegraph dug up some dirt on Boris Johnson, Farage, David Davis, Michael Gore, Liam Fox, George Galloway, US Republican politicians, bankers and Seb Coe!!!
All managers need to be warned....do not drink in pubs with giggly young ladies....you are not that fascinating.
At work yesterday a few of us tried to guess the possible list..... Giggs and Black were 2 not even mentioned, if true greedy idiots the lot of them.
Just too much money in football. But really the salaries these guys get, its pure greed. Get them all out, no sympathy. It's not like they'll be out of work for long as surely a lucrative career in banking up for grabs!
Was there any mention of Black before an hour ago? I didn't see any, so I probably won't believe Twitter about the rest yet either.
Assuming the giggs accusation is recent none of the big clubs employees are involved then or did they not try it on with any of the big clubs.... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Not quite sure what you mean but the Telegraph have choreographed this quite well with Sam on day 1, championship managers day 2 and premier league managers and coaches day 3 (tomorrow). So the timing an hour or so ago is predictable to get people to buy tomorrows papers. Aston Villa fans really hold Black partly responsible for their fall from grace and are loving the news tonight. It seems to me an immediate suspension is in order and if there is video evidence, a permanent parting of the ways has to be made. Ralph and Les are selling us as a squeaky clean club and we cannot afford to defend something like this. Telegraph have sunk pretty low IMO with their entrapment techniques but that does not excuse in any way the actions of the individuals named
Its good that corruption is being addressed but its ****ing disgusting that we have to rely on under cover journo's to pull dirty tricks and then release the findings as if its some sort of TV drama.
I mean I wouldn't pay much attention to the Twitter rumours (if you were going to make them up, they would look a bit like that list...). I think you are probably right about Aston Villa supporters, given their slightly random summer signings. (Sherwood mainly though). The Telegraph can do what they like and although this is not a great day for Eric, as a front page splash I am not sure there will be new records set...how many people have really heard of him? Maybe this is the "filler" before Saturday's big bombshell.
