£15k 'ish?

They look the part but there's nice driving SUV's out there tbh.

A little bit more than that, but you're in the right ball-park.

I rented a brand new one, last year, and it was a great car to drive, with everything fully loaded. Very quiet and extremely comfortable, with loads of space for the kids. It's just that I found it a little too anaemic for my tastes.

The wife loves it, of course.

Mrs Stanley wants a new car. Think I will lease this time. We went to a dealership recently and they changed the subject every time we mentioned leasing. I asked a friend of mine in the car trade why that was and he said leasing is now the best deal for the customer and the worst for the dealership as it's got so competitive. They will try and con you with part exchange and residual value bullshit but ultimately they're doing their best to screw you as it's predicting the future with no guarantees.

My brother leased a Qashqai a couple of years ago. Overall it's not really a great deal, as you pay the lease costs (which are typically more expensive than finance on a car anyway) and then you have limitations on mileage etc. Also you have to keep the car in good condition otherwise there are financial penalties when you give it back. He's just chopped it in and bought a brand now Qashqai instead.

Aren't United playing them in the Europey tonight? <whistle>

Utd are playing some Eastern European porn producer tonight called Zorya Luhansk.
The only reason I know that is because I sold one of his DVD's to HAIG's missus.

We did a like for like comparison on a car she was looking at and leasing was much more favourable. I guess it depends on the car.

Or you could buy the Rover 25 from HIAG!

What's this I hear about HIAG planning to Welch on his own agreement to carry the (bottled) Adams avatar for the whole season ?

I distinctly remember him saying that he was going to have it for the whole season, but I've seen a reply on the daily Arsenal thread that he's going to bottle it at the end of the month ???
