Mrs Stanley wants a new car. Think I will lease this time. We went to a dealership recently and they changed the subject every time we mentioned leasing. I asked a friend of mine in the car trade why that was and he said leasing is now the best deal for the customer and the worst for the dealership as it's got so competitive. They will try and con you with part exchange and residual value bullshit but ultimately they're doing their best to screw you as it's predicting the future with no guarantees.
If it's your brother, Pixie, the car will be a Qashqai Modo.

Aren't United playing them in the Europey tonight?![]()
She deserves more than a new car for putting up with you, you tedious ****.
We did a like for like comparison on a car she was looking at and leasing was much more favourable. I guess it depends on the car.My brother leased a Qashqai a couple of years ago. Overall it's not really a great deal, as you pay the lease costs (which are typically more expensive than finance on a car anyway) and then you have limitations on mileage etc. Also you have to keep the car in good condition otherwise there are financial penalties when you give it back. He's just chopped it in and bought a brand now Qashqai instead.
