Nice goal from our former "gunslinger", as the commentator described him - we badly need another one.

You know...pissing him off is the best thing you can do to Charlie Austin.

With us he was upset about being told his knees were knackered,. by Hull...and he played out of his skin for us....now rumours that Saints thought he was he was no good and would be going out on loan and he is back to scoring for fun
Come on Charlie...that is the spirit

Good enough for West Ham. A nasty club run by nasty people with nasty supporters. All Billy Big Bollocks with their new ground. Hope they go down.

West Ham played extra crowd noise over the tannoy in order to augment the atmosphere today as the atmosphere has been so poor recently.

Burnley seem to have Watford's number, 2-0 up with 30 mins to play in a clash of two former Championship teams.

Watford couldn't buy Success tonight, although he should have perhaps scored a late consolation goal.

Very very poor. Wet, windy, chilly night in Burnley ... Watford just didn't really fancy it. They will have to change an awful lot come the weekend when they play Bournemouth.

'People need to be held accountable'
Burnley 2-0 Watford

Watford captain Troy Deeney: "It was not good enough, I cannot say anything other than that, we got bullied to a man all over the pitch. Burnley set up and we couldn’t handle it, they won every first and second ball, they were dogged and I don’t mean that in a negative way.

"It is not the first time we have conceded from a corner, questions need to be asked, people need to be held accountable.

"People need to take responsibility – look at Michael Keane, he just come through and said ‘that is my ball, I’m going to head it’, he wanted more than the other boys involved.

"We played right into their hands, I don’t know what more to say, we got bullied.

"We played so well against Manchester United recently but it never really looked like it was going to happen.

"We have to try to make sure the fans have more Manchester United weekends then Burnley away weekends."
