8th of October marks klopps 1st year at Liverpool

In short i think we are in better shape in every way.

Our squad is much more balanced and competitive.

The players left over from brod are much improved.

We have in essence a clear game plan which is enjoyable style and can execute it well under different formations/players, and have shown we can switch it up too... its fun to watch us again.

Certainly exciting to watch again. Highest scorers since he took over. Defence is still a bit of a mess but it's getting there and signings in Matip and klavan look like when bed in will help stabilise that.

We look pacey in attack again and a real threat to any team in the league - certainly up there with season we finished 2nd at the moment.

Still look like might have the odd week where we get a Burnley result but looks to be more of an anomaly now.

Top 4 will be a start this year, a trophy would be brilliant. Both would take that right now.

I think the defence not being reliable (at least in feeling) is a good thing in terms of entertainment. Keeps you on the edge of your seat!

I've raised my prediction from 7th in preseason to 5th or 6th now.

Running on confidence and momentum at the moment. All in all a weak squad though. 4th would be an over achievement.


The games are a lot of fun to watch again now. Even when we're terrible like against Burnley we're entertaining.
 
What Klopp has done has given us an identity again. He's united the fan base, got everyone all on board and instilled a real feel good factor around the club.

The scary thing is that this is just the beginning. I don't think we're anywhere near where Klopp wants us to be yet and a couple of more Transfer windows should bring more improvement.

Well could say we are reliant on mane based on the season so far.

IMO

a) preseason really did do it's job.

b) he's made good backroom appointments

c) he's signed who he wanted as every one has played a part. He targeted matip almost immediately he arrived here for example.

d) thus far the team seem to realise that a match day is not a day to thin kyou can stroll

e) he's implemented a system that is unexpected from the past and last season. 4231 is gone and 433 with totally interchangeable players is here.
