.. and so it's off to the Promised Land, I wonder how we will cope?
It is strange that Saints seem so overlooked in favour of West Ham. I caught the end of 606 and the talk was about how poor West Ham were.
I must admit that I thought we would win today albeit a 3-0 result was more than I anticipated. West Ham must have been bad if JWP scored against them!
It will be interesting to see if the wins as opposed to the style of football eventually turn the Saints supporters in to fans of Puel. I never find Merrington to be that positive but he seems to remain quite negative ever when we win. I would have to argue that we have only played very poor sides so far and the real test will come against better quality opposition. It is looking like a very weak Premiership line up this season, in my opinion but the bigger teams are looking stronger. In the circumstances, I feel Saints should be looking for a UEFA cup place.
So do I, although a large proportion of that confidence is due to my ignorance of them. Which is a bad thing. Hopefully, Saints will know all about them before the match, because otherwise they probably will afterwards.I think it's a great time to play them. Expectation should be in them. They beat Inter away and are at home. I fancy us.
I completely missed today's match, apart from the reaction. So if you're like me, you may like this link to the whole match:

I'm off to watch it now. Cheers
No idea if it has been mentioned yet, had a brief look back...
16 games without a clean sheet until the Swansea game. Four clean sheets and four wins from the four games since.![]()
Feet up and light a cigar while you watch!
I watched the game when Celtic almost let Hapoel knock them out of the Champions League. The standard of football from both teams was around League 1 at best. I hope Claude looks at more games than that one, as I'm sure they can't be that bad all the time!So do I, although a large proportion of that confidence is due to my ignorance of them. Which a bad thing. Hopefully, Saints will know all about them before the match, because otherwise they probably will afterwards.
Also forgot how much fun it is reading through the entire game on here after I know the result
A lot of people disappointed with Cedric but BBC live text said he was brilliant... or was it a 1st/2nd half thing?
I thought he had a good game but was let down by poor attacking decisions. Went for goal when should have cut it back. Also forgot how much fun it is reading through the entire game on here after I know the result
