    He worked hard, but he didn't look a very good player to me. I agree that he didn't get the support, however when he had the ball it just didn't stick.

    Going under the radar is fine by me also, but I actually wanted to hear something about us today because I wasn't able to follow the match. You'd have thought WHU lost to a team.

    I was nervous for the first 15, but pretty relaxed past that.

    Good performances across the board, but thought that Vvd, Bertrand and Romeu were all particularly immense. I feel the need to make mention of Steven Davis (again) though - always there making himself available, and still looking for improvement even in the dying moments. Fantastic.

    It is strange that Saints seem so overlooked in favour of West Ham. I caught the end of 606 and the talk was about how poor West Ham were.

    I must admit that I thought we would win today albeit a 3-0 result was more than I anticipated. West Ham must have been bad if JWP scored against them!

    It will be interesting to see if the wins as opposed to the style of football eventually turn the Saints supporters in to fans of Puel. I never find Merrington to be that positive but he seems to remain quite negative ever when we win. I would have to argue that we have only played very poor sides so far and the real test will come against better quality opposition. It is looking like a very weak Premiership line up this season, in my opinion but the bigger teams are looking stronger. In the circumstances, I feel Saints should be looking for a UEFA cup place.
