I think that their problems might actually be the other way around. They're playing crap, so the fans feel the move a lot more than they would if they were winning. There are clearly some issues with the stadium, but none that affect the play, in my opinion.
Their recruitment over the summer was horrendous. Wasted weeks pimping themselves out to high-profile targets who wouldn't have joined them if they were the last club left in London, then went on this paranoid shopping spree of over-rated bilge largely for positions they were already well-equipped in. Reminded me of the people who stay up online all night on Black friday buying **** just because it's black friday.
Seemed like an excellent appointment last year, I'm totally stumped as to why West Ham have slumped like this. History repeating perhaps.
Cos their owners are ****ers who threw money at players they were never likely to get and then bought the wrong players in positions that they didn't need strengthening and no players were bought in areas they did need strengthening. Oh and cos they are ****!
West Ham fans at the end of last season: We're all going on a European tour! Slaven Bilic is so much better than Sam Allardyce, we're going places under him! Payet is the best player in the world! The new stadium full of Irons will be a fortress! West Ham fans now: please log in to view this image
We don't play them until mid-November. Shame that. Lovely thought just crossed my mind. May 6th, 2017 at the Olympic Stadium. Tottenham thrash West Ham 4-0 to relegate them in front of their own fans. At the full time whistle, Daniel Levy pulls down his trousers and moons the porno trio in the West Ham executive box. On one cheek, 'white' on the other 'elephant'.
You seem to have forgotten to mention that the three points gained in that 4 nil win makes us champions
As God intended. Fuming they let in that last goal though, I was finally on to get a correct score in the prediction League
Surely clinching it at home to United a week later would be even sweeter? After a week of trolling Hammers then seeing the look on the not-so Special One's face as we beat them to the title, I think I might spontaneously combust.
Excluding Lanzini, The Spammers brought in 10 (Ten) players this summer. Leaving aside the fact that none of them are that good, that's just far too many. From the get-go they were intent upon spending a vast sum of money, they kept on about it in the press. Complete lunacy. They're getting everything they deserve for their ridiculous behaviour in this and the real balls-up they've made of 'their' new home.
Stratford Olympic were so **** today, if Southampton thought it was a Monday night match and didn't turn up until tomorrow, the spammers would have still lost.
