Agreed but why don't we shoot? (Rhetorical as I don't expect you to know) so many opportunitiesto shoot but play tippy pass and nothing.

Anthony Taylor needs to explain why a blatant push on 4 or 5 of our players goes without a free kick but a tiny push on Connor Wickham is a foul (if there's any)

We were ok I suppose going forward. Djilibodji needs time out of the side (happy to admit I may have been wrong)

Be better with o'shea playing. Januzaj was weird. Drifted in and out of the game. Ndong again looked good. Cattermole played ok. Put some lovely passes in. Kirchhoff probably his worst game for us

  10. Admittedly, Pops, I was using a very thick dialect, but the lass who taught me how to converse in your tongue was a bit on the rough and ready side. Heart of gold, mind.

Some of you younger Mackems are losing touch with your heritage. I'll translate:-

    TRANSLATION

"All right, lads! It's only me!

I know some of you think I'm like a bad smell and only turn up when you've been hammered (like you were today), but to be fair to me, you haven't yet had a game when you haven't been hammered, so it's a bit harsh. Anyway, I wanted to pop by with a ray of sunshine through the dark cloud of your misery. At least next season, the North East derby will be back on. Wahay, lads! That's me all over! Always looking on the bright side of life. Anyway, don't forget to watch Match of the Day tonight, eh, lads!

    Etc"
