    His dad and his brother were in a small minority on St Johns Estate when they were kids, most of the lads on the estate were reds.

    Joey Barton is one those players who think he's better than what he actually is and as such, acts with superiority and arrogance and feeling he can do and act however he pleases.

    Truth is, he's a thug who poses as an average footballer, and the only reason is given any attention is due to his disciplinary issues and ability to quote famous philosophers from time to time to make him sound intelligent.
