I was going to say that but thought I would get abuse from the happy clappers. On another, I found this on Twatter. Dear #QPR the last thing I need is an email informing how well the players loaned out are doing when those remaining are ****e #loanRanger
Why did we start the season with four left backs and no right back? Who makes player purchase/loan decisions? What criteria is used for selecting purchases? Why, after 10 months, are we playing such boring rubbish?...
Jimmy....if you play one upfront you have to play with wingers?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................... Watching Palace yesterday (who I hate since 1982 Quarter final) they manage to play Zaha and Townsend wide in a three in the same formation as you seem to like so much. 4-2-3-1 yet Jimmy.....you are just too negative to play similar players in those roles!!
26 minutes in and it seems everything revolves around Chery. He can't play a system that doesn't involve Chery in the No.10 role. You understand?
Unless it's from Chery of course who supplied the cross from a set piece at the second time of asking from a corner. So the 'wingers' that we play can't supply crosses but our No.10 who can, but he won't play him there! Is anyone else confused? ( 32 mins in. )
He exits at 43 minutes. From what I've heard he seems bereft of ideas and is very single minded. I can't see how he has the ability to adapt. This is going to be a very tough season. I don't think he realises that what he's doing is unacceptable. There's something odd going on with Sandro. Questions unanswered was the persistence with 4-2-3-1 and starting Washington up front on his own when it doesn't work and never has. There's probably a few more but it's late and I'm off to bed. Fair play to him for going on the show though. There's not many, if any, managers that would do that considering our recent results.
If only we had a David Bardsley in our side. A top right back and a top right winger rolled into one. Fereday had pace and got one in five cross attempts in my opinion. Good player and a bloody nice bloke but didn't deliver consistently enough.
He doesn't believe it is unacceptable though. He did sound stubborn I agree. I liked the stuff about bringing the youngsters through at least though.
I don't like or dislike Jimmy, but he doesn't come across as a manager who is authoritative and knows what he wants or has the ability to organically adapt. It sounds like he is saying exactly what SLF wants him to say to appease the fans. Bringing the young players through is fine but not too many immediately. Shodipo is the exception. Two, three or even four years maybe but there's a reason why they can't make the squad at present. They're not good enough. It seemed to me like he is learning to ply his trade on our clock and isn't his own man. He's being guided by others. I never thought I'd say that until tonight. He's also alluding to do a Warnock/Hughes/Redknapp ( and throwing the match ) v Sunderland, why? If he has got this squad so fit with double training sessions why can't he play his best Xl? He has over done it with them and has knackered them, that's why. I'm going to have him down as clueless until he proves me otherwise. I'm more than up for swallowing humble pie.
How many great Dutch sides fell apart at major championships because of in-fighting and big egos? It seems to be a natural trait with them and we seem to have bagged one with JFH. Unfortunately, typically QPR, we bag one who is clueless and plays the opposite of 'total football'. If he doesn't change he'll be gone well before Christmas...
