This doom & gloom thread is dedicated to a club where money is the only thing that matters. Having punched above their weight last season they now look destined to return to their rightful place behind the top six.
With this in mind I would not be at all surprised if Levy cashes in on some of their better players next season
As usual, Levy by failing to spend any significant dosh, is taking one step forward & three steps back. Meanwhile Man U, Citeh, Chelsea get stronger. Being a Spurs fan Must be like being Ferris Bueller.
Most sensible Spurs fans will readily agree with every word of this and having won nothing meaningful for so long they have now become happy with the little ambition shown by the directors of the club. Of course their will be a few fans who see themselves as potential challengers for the title & the UCL.
This poor deluded bunch will not necessarily agree but deep downin their hearts they know this to be true. In the long run they will come to understand and thank me for warning them about the dangers of getting too carried away. This season see's them having their second ever bash in the big boys UCL which will of course add further strain on any ambitions of emulating last years fluke.
Of course please feel free to join in the discussion but please go easy on the Spurs boys as they traditionally don't take disappointment well.
