Sorry if anyone feels its inappropriate to speculate but I've suspected in the past that The French Tickler might have been Ron Black, who passed away recently.

I'm probably wrong but it's something I've wondered before.

Actually PLT, this had crossed my mind.
 
I do not know anyone on here baring one person but I got the impression that OLM knew personally who tickles was...maybe he could clarify if Ron Black was indeed Tickles without giving his identity away if it wasn't him. A simple yes or no would do....if no then were the **** is he..I liked his posts for their sheer randomness and hints of Alzheimer's

I never knew the real identity of Tickles, some things he posted suggested it could be Ron, others suggested it wasn't, so I was never sure.
 
I seem to remember he was supposed to be in a picture which was put up on here of the thirty odd who were at a preseason friendly in Germany.

Fingers crossed it's not him and he is just on holiday; although his silence is not normal.

I know some of you seem to see a red mist when he posts but I like him.

A bit bonkers but always honest.

Also seems to travel more than anyone on here to see games and is bringing up kids to support us too.

I always wondered if he was Rick lol.

I hope he returns, the place is duller without him.

I don't post all that often, but I regularly lurk, so I often saw his posts. He could seem a tad bizarre but he struck me as a very decent person deep down, I hope he's alright.

Just as a matter of interest, do many posters on here actually know who other posters are? As far as I know I don't know any of you but of course my next door neighbor could be one of us!
